Our Reboot Program is focused on helping STEM professionals that have left their careers restart their journey! This 16 week full time program will have you working on real projects, give you access to our online professional development tools, provide mentorship and peer guidance on both technical skills and company adaptation.

Lead Computational Designer

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Computational Designer to join our Digital Engineering Solutions team. This individual will be a key leader within the Design Technology group, driving the firm's digital transformation in design automation, computational design strategies, and BIM technologies by providing strategic guidance, technological vision, and solution development. This group specifically utilizes visual scripting to apply computational strategies to the design process across our architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) disciplines, and specializes in BIM, CAD, and digital twin technology from a design technology perspective. This position is for a person who has demonstrated excellence in computational design capabilities, is highly experienced with AEC design technologies, and excels at framing problems, shaping & creating solutions, and championing implementation. As a senior member of the Digital Engineering Solutions team, this person will also engage in research and development and provide strategic oversight to the AEC practices at CDM Smith, engaging in new product research, testing, and the incubation of innovative ideas that arise from around the company.

We are seeking an Electrical Technical Expert to join our Data Center team and serve as the subject matter expert on hyperscale, mission-critical campus and facility electrical systems. The Geologist independently conducts moderate to highly complex field investigations, oversee drilling operations, and collect geologic and environmental data. **Job Responsibilities:**
Perform the following structural engineering tasks:
+ Perform engineering activities throughout all phases of a project lifecycle, including investigation, evaluation, analysis, design, and engineering services during construction.
+ Perform structural analysis and prepare detailed design calculations.
+ Quality control reviews of other team member's work.
+ Prepare and review construction drawings and technical specifications.

As a Electrical Engineer, on the Power Systems Studies group you will work directly with some of the world's largest technology companies and other mission-critical clients. You will serve as an electrical engineer on projects, design calculations, write technical reports, and prepare documents. Experience in performing short circuit analysis and producing arc flash studies is required. You will also coordinate with other Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients.
