Roles & Responsibilities * Develop and maintain short-term, mid-range, and life-of-mine plans for active and future mining operations. * Prepare reserve calculations, production schedules, and sequencing plans to support operational and financial goals. * Optimize pit layouts, haul roads, phases, and material flow to improve efficiency and safety. * Support annual budgets, capital planning, and long-range strategic planning. * Manage land assets related to mining operations, including owned, leased, and optioned properties. * Coordinate land acquisition, lease negotiations, easements, and access agreements. * Support permitting efforts, including zoning changes, conditional use permits, mining permits, and expansions. * Work with local, state, and federal agencies to maintain compliance with land-use and mining regulations. * Assist in public hearings, community meetings, and stakeholder communications related to land use and mining activities.
