Cecil College company history timeline
Cecil College was founded in 1968 to meet the educational needs of Cecil County residents.
Elkton Station opened in 2005 and credit courses were offered at the site for the first time in the College’s history.
Numerous titles have been won by Cecil, highlighted by the men’s basketball national championship in 2006.
On June 13, 2007, the Maryland Higher Education Commission voted to accept its petition to change its name to Cecil College.
Day and will reopen on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 8:00 am.
