*First Shift ONLY, 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday and must be available to work Saturdays* The Assembler is responsible for manually feeding laundry into machinery, such as folding and ironing machines. The Assembler staff works as a team, and each member may operate different machines within a shift, as well as handle both wet and dry laundry as needed. Lifting and raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This occurs constantly throughout the shift requiring substantial use of the upper arms, shoulders, and back muscles. Constant pushing/pulling of both empty and full, wheeled laundry carts of varying weights and sizes, up to and potentially exceeding 250 pounds. Constant throughout entire 8-hour shift, fingering, fine manipulation, picking and grasping primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm. Repetitive hand movement includes simple and power grasping and pushing and pulling items. Heavy work, including exerting force and lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 20 pounds force constantly to move objects. Pulling, using upper arms and shoulders to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Ability to maintain productivity requirements in a fast-paced facility where all operations are driven by fully functioning, full life cycle computer system. System uses time sensitive production that follows a system of conveyor surfaces to move products and materials through the entire cleaning process to assure highest quality cleaning functionality.
