Responsible for following production work instructions and safety procedures for the department. Responsible for electrical assembly and wiring of control enclosures.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Assembly of Components: Assemble various parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to create finished products or sub-assemblies.
* Quality Control: Conduct inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints and schematics, to understand assembly requirements.
* Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory and ensure the correct quantities of components are available for assembly.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient production and adherence to safety standards.
* Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Capable of wiring electrical control enclosures.
* Follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
* Maintain assigned area per 5S guidelines.
* Assist in production as needed.
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or Managers.
Required Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED or international equivalent
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
* Must have 2 plus years' experience in electrical assembly.
* Must be able to lift 40 pounds and must not be allergic to the smell of paint.
* Must be able to work overtime, including Saturdays.
* Must be able to read, write and understand English.

* Production floor environment; constant mental and/or visual attention; the flow of work requires focused, detailed attention while working on a build.

The Mechanical Assembler III is responsible for the assembly, reworks and repairs on manufactured equipment and products in accordance with established procedures. This position reads work orders; follows and interprets production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties performed. The Mechanical Assembler II performs assembly work using hand-held tools and soldering equipment, and ensures the products meet quality standards, performing quality work checks. In addition, this role is responsible for supporting parts fulfillment in support of installed systems.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Assembles and tests equipment (primarily industrial process pumps) per engineered drawings or as instructed by others.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers, power tools, pallet jacks, fixed gauges, and jigs.
• Plans work and follows procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
• Repairs, takes apart, rebuilds equipment (pumps) to obtain an acceptable result.
• Inspects completed components for accuracy and functionality.
• Performs tests on components as necessary.
• Executes individual quality inspection throughout the assembly process, marking and setting aside parts which have obvious defects and informing supervisor and/or set-up personnel of any issues.
• Reads and follows production orders and diagrams for the product being produced, tests electric wire and terminal connections for mechanical strength and electrical continuity in assembly.
• Process parts orders by picking from inventory and preparing for shipment. Works with procurement as required to ensure product availability for fulfillment.
• Completes proper paperwork for checklist.
• Determines non-conforming material coming from other departments.
• Operates and adjusts tools, gauges, use hand Implement continuous improvement practice to reduce errors.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• A high school degree or GED, plus 3 plus years of experience working in the assembly, industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing fields.
• Experience working with hand/power tools, torque wrenches, band saws, sanders/grinders required.
• Experience with QC or Testing.
• Must be mechanically inclined and have the drive to learn and grow in the technical space.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Electrical experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience working with rotating equipment is a plus but not required.

Essential Responsibilities
•Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications using master copy, spec sheet, front elevation and WO files
•Perform maintenance and proper use of tools.
•Perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
•Perform all ship prep functions including splitting gear.
•Assist in Root Cause Analysis on engineering changes and correct discrepancies
•Assist a small team of employees to complete a specific task assigned as assigned by lead assembler and/or supervisor
•Perform mechanical adjustments for switchgear
•Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

•Basic knowledge of operating desktop computer.
•Safely use variety of hand/power tools.
•Lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
•Basic MES system knowledge, Oracle preferred.
