Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room and take all food orders in an efficient manner, following the established steps of service.

I. The Secondary Sleeping Overnight Supported Community Living Specialist (SCLS) is directly responsible to the Team Leader to which they are assigned and the Director of Residential Services.
II. This is a part-time/full-time, Para-professional level position.
III. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The Secondary Sleeping SCLS will be available to the awake overnight staff in the event of an emergency that requires evacuation of individuals.
2. Provide a supportive and therapeutic atmosphere.
3. Follow the assigned work schedule.
4. Never leave individuals receiving twenty-four hour care unsupervised.
5. Attend staff meetings and scheduled in-service training sessions.
6. Keep all written and verbal information on each individual strictly confidential.
7. Document as needed.
IV. Essential Functions:
1. Be available in the event of an emergency such as but not limited to: tornado, fire, civil defense emergency, etc.

Responsibilities
The Server / Dietary Aide is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by assisting with meal preparation, dining room preparation, and meal service consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
* Assist in preparing, storing, recording and serving meals, beverages and snacks for residents/customers based upon resident requests, regulations, established polices procedures and best practices.• Clean dishes, equipment and work area according to established procedures and schedules.• Create a positive dining experience for customers that promotes their independence, choice and overall well-being.• Encourage resident participation in the dining program and meal activities.• Set and clear dining tables, assist residents with menu selection, meal and beverage service, and clean the dining room according to established procedures and schedules.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated compatibility with PHS' mission and operating philosophies.
* Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
