Experience. Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

About the Position:
Sceye is seeking a full-time Operations Engineer - Ground Systems to join our Mission Operations Team. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and operating mission-critical ground systems-both hardware and software-that support Sceye's lighter-than-air High Altitude Platform System (HAPS). You'll collaborate closely with Mission Operations, Software, and Engineering teams to design, build, test, and operate the next generation of Sceye's ground systems. In addition to technical development, you'll support pre-flight planning, console operations during missions, and post-flight data analysis.

What You'll Do:
Test Design & Execution
Automate test procedures, capture results, and document anomalies

System Operations & Administration

What We're Looking For:
Required

Experience testing aerospace systems
Strong Linux skills and basic system administration knowledge
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python or Ruby preferred)
Ability to write, audit, and maintain test scripts, validation code, and UIs for internal tools
Understanding of human-factor design principles for UI/UX
Experience with data analysis and aggregation of large datasets
