An advocate for improving quality and access in healthcare, Tom Priselac has developed strategic and operational innovations to foster high-quality, safe and efficient care for patients. Under his leadership, Cedars-Sinai has earned an international reputation for quality care, community service, research and education while evolving from a community hospital to a major health system that continues to expand to better serve patients. Tom’s perspectives on healthcare delivery and policy are sought by a wide variety of groups. He is a past chair of the American Hospital Association Board of Trustees and a past chair of the Association of American Medical Colleges. He was chair of the American Hospital Association in 2009, during the development of Affordable Care Act. He also formerly chaired the California Hospital Association and the Hospital Association of Southern California.Among his leadership roles in organizations working to strengthen the communities of Los Angeles, Tom is a member of the Board of Councilors of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, Civic Alliance, the Los Angeles Coalition for the Economy and Jobs, the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. He has received numerous awards for leadership in healthcare and his commitment to improving the health of the underserved, including the American Hospital Association’s Distinguished Service Award, the AAMC Distinguished Service Award, the Special Needs Network’s Distinguished Community Champion Corporate Leadership Award and the Charles R. Drew University Board of Trustees Medal of Honor.Tom writes and speaks on a variety of policy issues related to the delivery and financing of healthcare, healthcare quality and safety, and the adoption and implementation of information technology. He is an adjunct professor at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, where he teaches principles of organizational leadership.

As Cedars-Sinai’s Senior Vice President for Advancement & Chief Advancement Officer, Arthur J. Ochoa heads the Los Angeles-based healthcare organization’s external relations, including community engagement, development and marketing/communications.

Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Art practiced transactional and tax law for individual, corporate and not-for-profit clients at O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Irell & Manella LLP. In his time between college and law school, Art began his career as an advocate and policy analyst at Youth Service America in Washington, DC.

Art’s civic life reflects his belief that a just and civil society starts with educated and healthy people. He serves as board chair of Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, which is both a Historically Black Graduate Institution and a member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. Art is also board vice president of Marlborough School and board vice chair of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. He is a board member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of Tulane University’s School of Liberal Arts and an honorary trustee of the Mexican American Bar Foundation.

Art is a past board chair of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, a past board president of the Center for Early Education, a past chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Tax Exempt Organization Committee and a past member of the Executive Board of the Yale Law School Association.

Art lectures frequently on communications, corporate governance, legal, management and philanthropic matters. Previously, he served as an adjunct faculty member of American Jewish University. He has received awards and recognition from a number of organizations, including National Medical Fellowships, the National Hispanic Health Foundation, the Mexican American Bar Foundation and Boy Scouts of America.

Art earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Southern California (cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and a Juris Doctor degree from the Yale Law School.

She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.

Alan Dubovsky is a Chief Patient Experience Officer at Cedars-Sinai and is based in Pacific Grove, California. Edward M. Prunchunas is Senior Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer at Cedars-Sinai. Edward M. Prunchunas leads Cedars-Sinai's financial operations, ensuring that the institution has the resources needed to serve the community, conduct biomedical research and provide training and education for healthcare professionals. Among the areas he oversees are financial planning and reporting, capital planning and risk management. Prunchunas joined Cedars-Sinai in 1981 as director of Budget and Reimbursement. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2015 after serving as associate director, director, vice president and then senior vice president of Finance and chief financial officer. Previously, he was chief financial officer at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, and worked on the consulting staff of the accounting firm Ernst & Young. He began his career at Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Illinois and Blue Cross of California. Prunchunas is a past fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and past president of the HFMA Southern California chapter. He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
