The Applied Genomics, Computation & Translational Core (AGCT) are looking for a Research Associate III to join the team!
The Cedars-Sinai Applied Genomics, Computation, and Translational Core (AGCT Core) is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art genomics facility offering data generation and interpretation for basic science and translational research in next-generation sequencing technologies, including single cell omics, spatial transcriptomics, and bulk cell omics. We specialize in single cell omics and spatial transcriptomics via the 10x Genomics, Parse Biosciences, Mission Bio, and NanoString platforms. Our R&D team offers sample preparation for single cell assays, such as nuclei isolation from frozen tissue or single cell isolation from fresh tissue dissociation. The AGCT Core also offers comprehensive services for standard bulk cell sequencing in genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, and metagenomics. Under general guidance, the Research Associate III works closely with Dr. Gayther, the CBFG and the AGCT Core, providing technical and/or administrative support in large or multi-project oriented labs. May be requested by PI to take on specific supervisory activities, and provide administrative leadership, and/or technical expertise. May develop hypothesis and assist in planning steps for the investigative process. Will review and remain current on literature as it relates to clinical/research study. Coordinates all lab and/or clinical activities, including but not limited to, budgetary/financial compliance, preparation of grant proposals, and creating independent presentations. Not responsible for generating grant funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides miscellaneous clinical/research support (ad hoc data analysis, hypothesis development, programming, troubleshooting, etc.).
• Organizes clinical/research trials in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and sponsor and/or funding source.
• Monitors and ensures compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Analyzes data and prepares scientific findings for publication as author or co-author.
• May make independent presentations.
• May provide system administration and maintenance for the local workstation network.
• Leads and trains Research Lab Assistants, Research Fellow, lower level Research Associates, and other related support staff and may be requested by PI to take on specific supervisory activities.
• Orients new Research Fellows and/or Research Scientists to day-to-day lab operations and procedures.
Department-Specific Responsibilities:
• May participate as a Safety representative and attend safety monthly meetings providing updates.
• Presents quarterly on lab-related protocols, updates, reminders, share information on equipment needed in the lab, discuss lab needs, lab improvements, lab issues, etc.
• Assists with BER applications/updates & compliance, conduct safety monitoring with regular lab inspections.
• Maintains eyewash weekly activation log, spill kits, safety training and compliance, as well as chemical and biohazard compliance.
• Conducts basic training centering of new staff/interns/students/post-doc on proper and safe general lab techniques (e.g. ergonomics, pipette usage, sterile TC techniques, clean-up of spills, etc.).
• Oversees CBFG and AGCT Equipment Service/Maintenance Agreements including requesting quotes, submitting requests for PO's, and contacting vendors when an instrument is not working properly, etc.
• Liaison for RFO requests including updating contact form and information, as well as reagent quotes.
• Serves as the point person for shipments involving dry ice and other biologicals.
• Reconciles orders requested and received.
• Point of contact for vendors.
• Assists farm freezer/ CO2 incubator alarms on Cetani.
• Assists with weekly lab ordering and other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation:
• Bachelor's Degree in a science related field is required.
Experience & Skills:
• Three (3) years of research laboratory experience are required. General understanding of molecular biology.
• Familiar with routine laboratory procedures, overall lab organization and cleanliness, as well as proper disposal of waste management.
• Must have superior interpersonal, communication and organization skills and the ability to work across company disciplines and functional units, and computer application experience.
• Knowledge of safety standards and maintenance of specialized equipment.

Position Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include direct patient care with a primary focus on infertility as well as other reproductive endocrine related disorders at one of our off-site and on-site offices (Tarzana/Beverly Hills). QualificationsRequirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Education or related Field.
• 6 years of experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist, registered by NBRC.
• 5 years of experience being trained and independently functional in all shift-specific, adult care subspecialty patient services offered by CSMC Respiratory Care Service.
• 1 year of experience & knowledge of adult learning theory, educational technology & methodology.
• 1 year of experience in developing and implementing educational programs. Broad base of knowledge related to clinical practice, evidence based practice and supporting an infrastructure focusing on front line/bedside staff member involvement.
Required Licenses Upon Hire:
• Current BLS certification required.

The Patient Service Rep is responsible for positive patient relations, accurate telephone communication, appointment scheduling, patient registration, payment and co-payment collection and overall providing outstanding customer service to patients through the intake of calls and ability to navigate services throughout Cedars Sinai Medical Network. This position also performs routine duties associated with the collection and maintenance of current patient demographics and insurance information.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provides outstanding customer service through the successful intake, prioritizing, and resolution of calls and patient needs for a multi-specialty team.
+ Greets patients and assist with resolving patient issues or raising patients issues.
+ Check-in and out patients and collect co-payments/give receipts/reconcile payments. Verifies that patient demographic and insurance data are accurate in CS-Link.
+ Schedules appointments, complete patient registration, collect patient payments and provides a high standard of patient service.
+ Assists with the management of physician schedules and finds opportunities for improvement. Handle patient/provider correspondence as instructed.
+ Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
+ Manages patient care flow and assist with monitoring CS-Link message pools and standard work.
+ Monitors and assess their own workflow to find opportunities for improvement.
+ Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients using administrative knowledge
+ Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings.
+ Promotes and practice infection prevention standards and all department policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience working as a Patient Service Rep in an outpatient medical office setting preferred.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
Currently hiring a Spanish Interpreter. Competency in written and verbal communication skills in English and the designated foreign language. Ability to translate and interpret medical terminology. Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Responsible for leading and providing a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where infants, toddlers and preschool children. Creates the opportunity for children to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Master Teacher develops and implements daily lesson plans for early childhood education classrooms, leads and supervises infant, toddler and preschool teachers in curriculum, classroom environment, and parent relationships. Takes the lead on ensuring proper staffing and coverage in their classroom/program. Maintains classroom records, including the assessment of children and the collection of data necessary for the evaluation of early childhood educations programs. Master Teacher takes the lead on completing and delivering information prepared for parent conference and addresses all situations in collaboration with center leadership.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday hours may vary as the team rotates scheduled. You must be available to work any shift between 6:30am - 8:00pm.
The Child Development Center (CDC) is closed major Federal holidays and four days for Professional Developement. The center is open year round.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required:
* 2 years coaching and training staff members and leading a classroom experience.
* Computer literate
Preferred:
* 2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable group childcare program.

* An Associate of Arts degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis in early childhood education or child development. For infant care teachers, completion of 3 specialized units.
* Alternatively, Child Development Master Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

* Child Abuse Check List
* Current Mandated Reporter Training
Preferred:
* .....BA or higher in ECE/CD or related field
* .....3 units adult supervision and field experience in ECE/CD setting.
* Pediatric CPR and First Aid Current Certification, must be current 30 days from hire date
Pay Scale Information
USD $44,117.00 - USD $72,478.00

**Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Clinical Research Assistant assists Principal Investigator with the development and implementation of research activities conducted in the enterprise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: subject recruitment, consenting families, assisting with research, data entry and analysis, grant preparation, professional presentations and preparation of manuscripts for publication.
**Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** Ability to accurately enter data into the computer system. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills required. Basic filing, typing and organizing skills. Ability to speak and understand Spanish preferred.
**Education/Licensure/Certifications:** High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred in related scientific field preferred. Certified clinical research associate/coordinator preferred.
