What will you be doing:
The Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit.
Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Answers phones and call lights.
Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.
Assists patient transporter as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
*Shift = Nights, 7pm to 730am*
*Part Time = 2-Shifts per week*
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 6-months to 1-year of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years preferred.
Required to have experience in acute care setting.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED.
Current BLS required. (BCLS certification preferred).

Schedule: Day Shift
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Medical Assistant/Patient Service Representative provides patient-families with a positive experience at CHLA by performing a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred. Pediatric experience a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required. California Medical Assistant certification preferred. BLS from the American Heart Association required.

$43,680.00-$68,650.00
