Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Defines measurement strategy for the company to support operational needs as well as strategic and growth initiatives. Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: * Manages a customer dedicated team including Operational Program Management, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain resources. * Responsible for P&L for the Customer Operation. * Responsibilities include production, engineering support and cost management including bid approvals. * Manages the customer programs to achieve planned revenue, meeting all commitments and schedules and developing action plans to correct out of plan conditions. * Involves customer account costs involving forecasting, planning and monitoring production efficiency , execution of strategy and strong participation in bid preparation. * Jointly responsible with Global Account Team for Customer Satisfaction setting performance objectives and execution plans to ensure product, programs and projects will be on schedule highlighting good performance and positioning perceived performance issues in context. * Examples of programs requiring day to day Customer Operations Management include MRP volumes and commitments, new product development support, prototype builds , new product introduction, manufacturing readiness reviews and Contract/DOU execution. * Responsible for reviewing, analysing and reporting program performance and taking action where performance is not acceptable. * Involves monthly operations and customer operations review meetings and quarterly customer performance reviews. * Scope of measurements range from inventory, revenue forecasting, staffing and development, expense, financial profitability, manufacturing efficiency and customer satisfaction. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies * In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business unit and how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery and the profitability of the unit. * In-depth knowledge of manufacturing, the production process, testing, quality and the tools and equipment used in production in a highly dynamic environment. * Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills. * Ability to establish business unit goals and coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet quality and quantity metrics. * Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers. * Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high performance levels within tight time deadlines in a highly dynamic environment * Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
