Leads team members to identify, manage, and execute the plant's process improvement opportunities. Manages production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team oriented work force in order to improve business results.

Physical Requirements

The Indiana Production Facility (IPF) is located in the small town of Crawfordsville, Indiana in the middle of Montgomery County, which is about 45 minutes west of Indianapolis. If you enjoy the outdoors you could visit the surrounding state parks such as Turkey Run and Shades State Parks or rent canoes at Clements Canoes Outdoor Center. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

What You'll Do

As an Production Fabricator, you'll be part of our team located in Willard, OH.

You'll get to:

* Oversee production activities, including:
* Assembly work and product maintenance as needed
* Visual inspections of both in-process and finished product
* Requests for tools, parts, and hardware supply from the appropriate personnel
* Identification of quality issues and proper tagging for hold or quarantine process
* Safe and appropriate use of hand tools, testing equipment, and hardware fixtures
* Appropriate work station set up
* Line - product changeovers
* Collaborate with Supervisors and assist department with daily tasks as needed
* Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
* Ensure all stock and work areas are kept neat, organized, and stocked appropriately at end of shift
* Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and MTD procedures which may include: attribute and torque monitoring, statistical process control (when required), double check verification, control plan verification, bill of material & specification sheet verification
