The Team: You will partner with two others - The Vice President, Research & Insights and the Senior Manager, Research & Insights. In support of our members, together you three will produce 40+ industry research reports on various aspects of the food retail industry, including shopper trends and business operations.
What Work Can You Look Forward to Doing in This Role?
Conduct Research - Use various sources to provide background information on specific industry topics.
Survey Instruments - Assist in the creation and review of survey instruments to gather relevant data.
Data Collection - Support data collection efforts, including programming, sample management, and data cleaning/tabulation.
Outreach Efforts - Use your creativity to generate infographics, descriptions for webinars, e-blasts, e-newsletters, and member mailings.
Writing/Proofreading - Edit and assist in the production of reports, presentations, and webinars for dissemination.
Budget Management - Assist in managing budgets and tracking expenditure for research projects.
Administrative Support - Use your project management skills to answer questions via email or phone, and other office management support.
Education and Skills That You'll Need to be Successful:
A college degree in social sciences, business, economics, psychology, sociology, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a Research or Insights department is a plus. One to two years of professional work experience.
Strong analytical, data interpretation, and research skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Familiarity with survey tools (SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics) and data processing software is a plus. Experience with Sitefinity and Adobe is a plus.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new database and software tools.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.

Job Description
Candidates in this role are responsible for the accurate and efficient execution of microbiological tests including aseptic processing of sterility tests in a cleanroom suite, particulate matter testing via the use of a laser particle analyzer or microscopic examination, endotoxin testing, or other microbiology pharmaceutical testing in accordance with established procedures. Routine Quality Control of laboratory equipment, media, and microorganisms.
Provide accurate test results to customers on a timely basis including but not limited to Bioburden, Limulus amoebocyte lysate (LAL) Sterility for Medical Devices, Off-Site Clean Room Validation and Monitoring, etc.
Record test results accurately and legibly on all documents.
Technical report writing including text, tables, graphs, and diagrams.
Assist in the training of new Laboratory Technicians.
Follow and perform process qualifications and validations for procedures and/or equipment.
Maintain control of test samples including logging in, storage, tracking, and disposal.
Monitor test status and conditions as described in Work Instructions and Operating Procedures.

+ Responsible for Installation Case management, Salesforce Calendar tracking, and coordinating all assigned installation and training cases with the customer in a timely manner.

+ Provides veterinary clinic staff training on installed equipment, in partnership with Field Education Specialists.

**Education and Experience**

The Microbiologist 3rd shift will join the Civica, Inc.
