Alex Mashinsky is an entrepreneur who has founded several notable technology firms in the United States. He founded Arbinet in 1996 as a commodity exchange for telecommunication companies to trade unused long-distance minutes. Mashinsky's' other company, VoiceSmart, was one of the first firms to offer telecommunications switches to handle ordinary voice as well as Voice over IP call routing.

Daniel Leon is a business and social entrepreneur with a proven track record of growing early-stage companies and building organizations from the ground up. Sought out for his passion, his ability to think strategically, and his talent for communicating a corporate story, Daniel has co-founded and led multiple companies and not-for-profit organizations.

Daniel is currently the President and co-founder of Celsius - a new borrowing and lending platform, based on blockchain technologies. The company successfully completed a $50 mil ICO. He is also a managing partner w VC firm Governing Dynamics. Previously, he was founder/CEO of Atlis Labs Inc - a venture-backed local discovery platform powered by real-time customer referrals. Prior, Daniel served as CEO of Beyon3D and the Chairman of HereO. He was also General Manager, Mobile, of Ground Link, that raised more than $30 million in funding during his tenure. He started his career as Vice President at Gallup.

Daniel’s community involvement shows the same zeal for entrepreneurism that he has demonstrated in the business world. He is a founding board member of Act for Israel-an online platform for pro-Israel, digital activism -the latest of his ventures designed to strengthen the ties between his native and adoptive countries. He is also a founding member of AIPAC Technology Division and a founding board member of Moatza Mekomit - the umbrella organization of Israeli community in NYC where he chairs both the business and Israel committees. Daniel sits on various boards. In October 2012, Daniel was asked by the Jewish Agency for Israel to join the task force tasked with keeping Israelis living abroad connected to the Jewish State.

Daniel holds a degree in Economics from Brown University and also attended Santa Monica College where, to the surprise of no one, founded the community’s first Rotary Club. Daniel has one daughter, Ella, who is the love of his life. He splits his time between New York and Tel Aviv.

Nuke is a seasoned software developer, architect, innovator, and entrepreneur in cutting-edge technologies. His career ranges from image processing and AI to IoT and blockchain. Prior to his work on the Celsius crypto assets lending and borrowing platform he designed P2P credit protocols using distributed storage and smart-contracts. Nuke was the CEO and founder of Sevenpop, a leading interactive music technology provider to hundreds of hotels and shopping centers across Israel. Nuke holds a B.Sc. in computer science from the Technion in Haifa (Israel’s most elite Institute of Technology). He also has black belts in Kempo Karate and Combat Ju-Jitsu. In addition, he has been awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation.

Harumi Urata-Thompson is founder and CEO of HUT Consulting. She specializes in leading and advising organizations on taking innovative paths to achieve strategic, operational and marketing success in their businesses. Currently, she is consulting to and serving on the board of directors of several companies. Prior to starting HUT Consulting, Harumi was the Chief Operating Officer for CFA Society New York, previously New York Society of Security Analysts, a nonprofit affiliate of the CFA Institute with a membership of over 10,000 financial professionals. As COO, she was responsible for all aspects of the organization’s operations. She substantially improved its financial and operating performance by delivering better value to members, instituting significantly better operating processes, developing corporate partnerships, and establishing a new business model for attracting revenues from sponsors. Before CFA Society New York, Harumi spent 14 years at Thomson Reuters where she held successively senior positions, always with an eye toward innovation and operating efficiencies. She was a Director at the corporate level overseeing innovation and managing a portfolio of mobile products across divisions. Harumi was Chief of Staff to the CEO of the Healthcare and Science business, where she oversaw all management activities of five business units, including acquisitions, business and product management, and planning for an annual $900M budget and 4,300 employees. Harumi was also a Product Manager over the entire company’s fixed income business and successfully launched the most significant product in this division’s history. Harumi began her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, working in fixed income derivatives and mergers & acquisitions. She has an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BA, magna cum laude, in business from Sophia University in Japan. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Project Management Professional certified, an Advanced Communicator and Leader of Toastmasters, and bilingual in English and Japanese.
