About the Role:
The Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) is responsible for ensuring electrical safety and compliance while working in and around energized electrical systems. This role includes observing civil crews operating near energized equipment and conductors, performing safety assessments, and verifying that components, cables, and equipment are safe to work around. The QEW plays a critical role in maintaining safe working conditions and supporting field operations through inspections, observations, and authorization processes.
Key Responsibilities:
² Serve as a Qualified Electrical Worker in accordance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and company procedures.
² Take and execute NTOs (No Test Orders) as required to support field activities.

Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Temporary Power team as an Entry Level Electrical Worker.
Summary:
The Entry Level Electrical Worker is a key position responsible for driving to customer job sites and ensuring safe and efficient installation of temporary power equipment. Outdoor work with frequent drive time; Position mostly requires doing various electrical tasks, heavy lifting, and ladder climbing. Frequent overtime is required. This is a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
Load and stock company vehicle and drive to job sites.
Install temporary power poles, wire and other equipment.
Install permanent utility materials and equipment for a wide range of construction projects.
Always hot check jobs before leaving to ensure there are no hot neutrals.
Drive vehicles in accordance with laws and Power Plus! driving standards.
Accurately report (every stop) to dispatch and scheduler. Fill out tickets, highlight maps and go over tickets with Mapper each day.
Wear OSHA compliant safety equipment - hard hats, etc.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 80 pounds
Ability to read maps
Willingness to work on ladder (heights)
Experience working with connecting phone systems a plus
Class B or Class A license a plus
ET card a plus
*Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00/hr

The Mechanic is responsible for the execution of electrical installations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reviews project scopes with the Foreman and plans execution of the project to ensure timely delivery
Ensures installations meet project scope, NEC, and ETI standards for code and quality

WORK HOURS

Overtime and weekend work may be required during busy periods.
DRESS CODE
Shirts must have a minimum of 6" sleeves and must be of full length.
Long pants are required except in rare cases where shorts are approved. Pants must be appropriate for a construction site, be clean and neat with no holes. Sweat pants are not allowed. Undergarments should not be seen.
Work boots are required. Safety shoes are recommended and may be required on some jobs. Tennis shoes, sneakers, soft-soled or worn-out shoes are not allowed.
