Job Summary
Individuals hired as Talent Development Professionals (TDPs) in Corporate will be placed in a 12-month entry level rotational program based in one of the following departments: Human Resources, Planning, or Supply Chain, among other support functions. The program is designed to set a strong foundation for a successful career in CEMEX USA. During the program, TDPs will learn operational aspects of the business in ready-mix concrete, aggregates, cement, while focusing on the support function from a corporate perspective. In addition, TDPs will participate in leadership development sessions in order to enhance management capabilities, participate in project-based learning, and given opportunities to collaborate and network with others.
Job Responsibilities
This will be a rotational program with assignments at our corporate and/or regional offices and the surrounding areas. It will include hands-on training projects, simulations, and other experiential learning opportunities. Participants will also be introduced to the relationships between our three lines of business: cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates as well as various critical support roles within the organization.

Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Vice President of M&A, the Analyst M&A will provide leadership and support on various investment and growth initiatives consistent with Cemex's overall business and growth strategy in the US. The Manager will be a key member of the company's M&A department in the US and support the team in managing complex acquisitions and strategic corporate development initiatives.
The primary focus of the position will be to support in the M&A process for value‐add opportunities involving industrial assets or located in strategic markets for Cemex throughout the United States, including offshore targets. Likewise, the Analyst M&A may also get involved in and support - if and when needed ‐ larger corporate transactions in coordination with the corporate M&A / Strategic Planning departments based in Global HQ (Monterrey, MX), as well as support other internal periodic activities, such as supporting pipeline updates.
The Analyst M&A will partner with and support Cemex's core businesses to build, develop and implement growth strategies and business objectives while overseeing the analysis and execution of potential transactions (asset acquisitions & divestments). In doing so, the Manager will perform commercial analyses, financial modeling, and coordinate with subject matter experts across the organization. In addition, the position will also partner with senior management to analyze, assess, inform, and execute on all relevant activities to support these transactions.
This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a high degree of maturity, and a proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast‐paced environment. Strong academic credentials and writing skills are essential. The scope of the role includes working with the Cemex US Strategic Planning team to design and provide support for acquisition due diligence. The Pug Mill/Loader Operator position involves operating a variety heavy equipment as well as performing semi-skilled duties around the production facilities. What You'll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Perform duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently.
Oversee Projects. Conduct analysis of customer and job specifications. Assist in new product development. Oversee special, high visibility, or large projects.
Train QC Personnel. Train QC department personnel in proper testing procedures within the lab and in the field to optimize team efforts and efficient performance.
Conduct Testing. Inspect, sample, and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction materials in conformance with appropriate standard test methods. Perform tests to ensure quality of products during production, shipping, and at job sites.
Review Test Results. Review, monitor, and maintain the test results of the data and adjust blends when required. Review material quality test results for conformance (per ASTM, AASHTO and appropriate DOT procedures) in order to meet Vulcan's standards for quality products. Communicate test results to supervisors, plant personnel, and plant site QC. Ensure proper documentation of results in the QC database.
Prepare Reports. Prepare submittals for the various products. Prepare statistical summary quality reports on VMC Aggregate products.
Troubleshoot. Perform troubleshooting of field and jobsite problems. Visually inspect material sources, stockpiles, and truck loads at Aggregate plants. Troubleshoot problem jobs and specifications.
Champion Continuous Improvement. Stay abreast of professional and technical developments in order to maintain and improve the skills and knowledge needed for superior job performance and to help improve operational efficiency.

Skills You'll Need:
Education. Must have your high school diploma or its equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience. Five years of construction materials testing experience in construction materials to include aggregates, asphalt, and ready mix concrete is preferred. Must possess superior working knowledge in at least one product line and have skill in all product lines.
Testing Knowledge. Individual must be skilled in basic ASTM, AASHTO, and ADOT testing procedures applicable to our complete product line. Must be knowledgeable in product related specifications and finished products.
Interpersonal Skills. Must have strong verbal communications skills for interacting with plant production personnel, plant managers, sales personnel, customers, and agency representatives.
Analytical Skills. Skill in general statistical analysis, math, and engineering concepts is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Oracle Business Environment, and other software packages relevant to the position.
Time Management Skills. Must have the ability to perform material testing in an orderly, efficient, and accurate manner.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Do:

Serve as a key contributor within the Engineering department, which provides technical support to over 65 precast concrete manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
Design a variety of precast concrete products, including pipes, manholes, and custom structures in accordance with applicable specifications and standards.
Prepare structural calculations, fabrication/shop drawings, and cost estimates.
Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Engage with contractors, agency representatives, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout project life cycles.
Attend project meetings and conference calls as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Ability and intent to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license within a few years of hire.
Prior experience or coursework in precast concrete, structural engineering, or state DOT and water/wastewater infrastructure projects is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple, concurrent project deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and error prevention.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across organizational levels.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
Training and Travel:
This position includes approximately one month of hands-on training, which will require travel throughout Texas, as well as to Oklahoma City and Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Travel is required immediately upon hire.

Job Summary
Under the guidance of the Plant Superintendent, the Plant Lead is responsible for all daily ready mix plant administrative tasks and record keeping. This is inclusive of safety, maintenance, environmental, raw materials, driver logs, and all other daily operational complaince.
Job Responsibilities
Safety:
* Adheres to all CEMEX and OSHA rules and regulations at all times, and wears proper safety equipment while on plant grounds, meeting or exceeding CEMEX and OSHA safety standards
* Promotes safety within assigned plant and serves as an example using visible felt leadership
* Responsible for ensuring employees are identifying Safety Improvement Cards (SIC) opportunities
* Assists in the review and closure of all Safety Improvement Cards for assigned plant
* Responsible for the safety of all employees and the safety of anyone at assigned plant
* Understands that nothing is more important than the safety of CEMEX employees, contractors, and the general public
Operations:
* Is the coordinator and keeper of all ready mix plant paperwork. This includes all driver logs, VCRs, maintenance records, environmental compliance, safety follow ups, and all other necessary records.
* Collaborates with Plant Superintendent, Area Manager, Plant and Fleet Maintenance Managers and other supervisory personnel to resolve production issues, provide immediate feedback, and recommend solutions to improve performance
* Ensures daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance is performed and assists in performing minor repairs and maintenance of the plant
* Performs inventory counts as needed
* Ensures the start and end of day procedures are correct and accurate to include the backflush process
* Assists and performs (as required) the operation of concrete batching to ensure the correct amount/proportion/sizes of cement, aggregates and additives are used
* Monitors quality and quantity of raw materials to ensure that products meet established standards
* Interact with Dispatch and Customer Service as needed to coordinate efficient delivery of product and makes recommendations for improvement
* Responsible for appearance of the assigned plant and surrounding area
* Coordinates with Plant Superintendent, Area Manager, and Environmental Department to ensure the plant is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations and requirements
* Assists ongoing improvement and support through Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives and projects in coordination with the Plant Superintendent
* Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High school diploma preferred
* 2 (or more) years experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production, safety, and maintenance; equipment maintenance; experience in detecting and resolving production problems
* ACI Certification
* High school diploma preferred
* Two (or more) years' experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production, safety, and maintenance; equipment maintenance; experience in detecting and resolving production problems
* Working knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations
