Commitment and Ownership: Follow through on commitments, demonstrate a clear sense of ownership, and take personal responsibility for decisions, actions, and outcomes. CRM Maintenance: Update and maintain the CRM as needed. Collaborative Efforts: Work efficiently with internal and external contacts to support the sales team in achieving sales goals. A Day In the Life as a Lending Sales Specialist The primary role of a Lending Sales Specialist at MidSouth Community FCU is to recognize and act upon lending and sales opportunities with potential borrowers. The Lending Department is a centralized team directly led by the Lending Sales Manager and housed at our Watson Boulevard branch in Warner Robins, GA. This department is a busy & fast-paced environment that takes member loan applications and prepares them for review by our Underwriter. As a Lending Sales Specialist, you would serve our members by phone - presenting a thorough knowledge of the lending process, from application to closing. You would also explain recommendations, products, and services in ways that members can easily understand. This will require patience, respect, empathy, and a highly-motivated & positive attitude. What Are We Looking For? If you have worked in a sales environment, in a customer/ member-facing role, or otherwise in a financial institution that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, this position may be perfect for you! In an ever-changing world of banking, we are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and willing to see a task through from beginning to end. Additionally, we are looking for a person who is able to effectively balance priorities, while maintaining a level of high professionalism and courtesy to all members. Experience: Two years to five years of similar or related experience. One year of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Education: A high school education or GED. College degree or college courses in a related field highly preferred. Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities becomes necessary. How is the Work Schedule?
