The purpose of this position is to provide Echo and Vascular lab examinations to patients of all ages Responsibilities: * Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. * Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. * Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing * Under the guidance of the manager of the vascular laboratory, assists in the coordination of all activities performed in the laboratory, including performing vascular imaging studies. * Assess the patient's condition, prepares examination room, maintains equipment and supplies. * Performs related duties as required. Qualifications: * Required: * Education: Associate degree and graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of documented competency/clinical experience. * Experience: 1 year of job-related experience in clinical setting. * Licensure/Certification: * Registered with the ARDMS, RVT * Certified in the modalities in which employee works * American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. * Preferred: * Experience: 2 years of job-related experience in clinical setting. * Licensure/Certification: ICVALARDMS RVT certification is required within 1 year of employment.
