Position Purpose: Perform day to day duties of assuring that providers are set up accurately in the provider information system for state reporting, claims payment, and directories. Responsible for multiple state deliverables, network reporting and directories as well as claims payment resolution as it relates to provider set up. Provide support to external provider representatives to resolve provider data issues. Research and effectively respond to provider related issues. Act as the internal and external liaison for provider networking, maintaining positive working relationships with participating physicians, participating physician groups (PPG's), multi-specialty groups, and/or ancillary providers within assigned area. Act as account manager for assigned groups acting as gatekeeper for interactions with other internal departments. Responsible for daily administration and operation of the contractual provider relationships, including overseeing accurate and current provider databases, providing training, education and information to providers. Research, analyze and resolve complex problems dealing with contract loading, division of financial responsibility interpretation, contract rate and language interpretation, appeals, grievances and eligibility. Serve as primary point of contact and liaison between assigned providers and the health plan. Provide issue resolution support for most complex provider contracts by researching and partnering to resolve provider claims and data issues. Act as department subject matter expert. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of provider services experience required, including experience in a managed health care environment with exposure to provider contracting, servicing benefits interpretation, and internal operations of provider relations.Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience Minimum Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Networking, or similar curriculum, or equivalent educational and practical work experience. 2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware (printers, scanners, tablets) and Windows-based PCs. Familiarity with VPN setup and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration. Preferred Skills Experience with Zebra printers and barcode scanning devices. Basic understanding of web-based applications and backend error troubleshooting. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft and Office365 applications including PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Sharepoint. Willingness to learn new skillsets, applications and processes. Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services. Operational Management Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. Ensure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances. Manage servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information. Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. Participate in managing all network security solutions. Perform server and security audits, and system backups and recovery. Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team. Systems Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation. Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices. Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems. Excellent knowledge of telephony systems, including. Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP, BCP, RADIUS, VPN, DNS, NAT, 802.11x, etc. Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience. Extensive application support experience. Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits. Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Physical Requirements & Work Conditions: On-call availability 24/7. Typical on-call afterhours are low or scheduled. Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components. Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings. Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals. Personal vehicle necessary for local travel Have the ability to travel to other locations within the U.S.A.
