Center coordinator job description

The Transport Center Coordinator (TCC) has an important role keeping track of production output and driver & vehicle resources. As the main contact for the Dispatch Office, the TCC regularly interfaces with the Circulation drivers, the Production Department and the Distributor contractors in the field. Other responsibilities include taking incoming phone calls, organizing nightly documentation, monitoring and recording timely dispatches and writing nightly reports. The right candidate should possess good communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate deliveries from our Springfield, VA plant to local distribution centers Assures that each scheduled route is appropriately covered by utilizing available drivers and vehicles Develop and maintain productive relationships with contractors, distributors, vendors, drivers and various departments to facilitate the timely delivery and accurate distribution of products Coordinate changes in dispatch schedule for delays and/or issues to assure timely dispatch and deliveries Perform a variety of clerical duties and paperwork as assigned, such as manifests, sign-in sheets, timecards and nightly reports Communicate with distributors and publication partners of product details, delays and other important dispatch information Promote safe work practices and assist in conducting safety audits Manage multiple concurrent priorities in a fast moving and deadline critical environment Handle any special requests or order changes, as required

Responsibilities

The Wound Care Coordinator at the Oregon Burn Center is responsible for tracking and coordinating with the bedside staff and attending physicians, the care and dressing types of patients on the burn service, on the Emanuel campus. Additionally, this role provides expert opinion during rounds on every patient in the unit as well as multidisciplinary rounds. The Wound Care Coordinator coordinates procedures performed on the unit with staff, physicians and anesthesia providers, when appropriate.

Involvement of the wound care coordinator with patients that the burn service is consulting, and not primary, is at the discretion of the burn service attending only.

Qualifications

Education:

As required by licensure. BSN preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2-years' experience with the Oregon Burn Center, or other burn wound experience and 1-year critical care experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

Job Summary

The Transplant Department Donor Center Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with transplant surgeons and physicians to facilitate patients' matching for a solid organ transplant; from receiving the offer through Donornet, acceptance or refusal of the organ, communicating offers to surgeons, calling in patient, coordinating transplant admissions, operating room case times, ensuring appropriate order sets are initiated, reviewing consent parameters with the patient including high risk donors, acting as liaison with patient and family through admission of patient to an inpatient unit and then the OR. The Donor Coordinator must possess advanced clinical skills to assess donor selection requirements of the transplant recipient population. They are responsible for patient, significant other and nursing staff education regarding transplant event. The Donor Coordinator is responsible for wait list management and data entry into electronic systems such as EMR and transplant specific database. The Donor Coordinator is also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications Required Skills

Current RN license from the State of Florida and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Two years of critical care experience preferred.
Current certification as a CPTC (Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator) OR CCTC (Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator) preferred.
All transplant coordinators are required to sit for the CCTC or CPTC exam within 2 years of hire and pass within 3 years of hire.
