JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Technical Operations is responsible for managing the technical operations of multiple centers, which includes planning, team member management, budget management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(50%) Center Operations
1. Remain visible at Centers and understands the Center's team member engagement level and workload
2. Implement programs, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound Operation
3. Analyze the operations of assigned Centers as related to staffing, utilization of facilities, equipment and supplies, and recommends and implements solutions and changes
4. Develop and manage the budget for the technical operations(s) and recommends financial decisions for the Center
5. Monitor the performance and profitability of services offered
6. Provide ongoing and timely communication to management and team members regarding Center performance, team member performance, events, issues, etc.
7. In partnership with the Manager, Administrative Operations on Market initiatives and on-going operations
8. Interface with Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities
9. Maintains productive relationships with center's customer base in defined market through delivery of extraordinary customer service
10. Attends sales calls and lunch meetings with the sales team, providing operations knowledge
11. Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, and administrative functions
12. Maintains a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center team members with the assistance of the center safety coordinator
13. Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
(45%) Team Member Management
1. Oversee and assist with the training of new team members and supervisors, providing resource and technical expertise
2. Participate in team member performance management and evaluations, compensation recommendations and development.
3. Develops coaches and provides training opportunities for all direct reports based on assessment of individual needs to ensure critical leadership development
4. Leads regular team meetings and team member one-on-one discussions
5. Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education for the technologists and nurses
6. Ensures all technologists are compliant with CEU (continuing education) credits, in good standing with appropriate registries, updated with CPR credits, etc.
7. Implement strategies to promote teamwork within the Center and Market
8. Collaborate with Chief Technologists to build high performing and engaged teams
(5%) Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
1. High school diploma, or equivalent
2. Associate's degree in radiologic technology, registered nursing, or a Graduate of an American Medical
Association (AMA) accredited sonography program, or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health
Education Programs (CAAHEP), or another closely related and applicable healthcare/medical field
3. ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification, RN Licensure, or registered American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) sonographer, current and in good standing
4. Sonography certification in imaging specialty (AB, BR, ObGyn, etc.)
5. Five (5) years' related medical experience
6. Three (3) years' experience managing a team of direct reports
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
8. Some travel is required between sites; a reliable means of transportation is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(90%) Patient Mammography Imaging
* Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure
* Explains and prepares patients for Mammography imaging procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately imaged/scanned
* Performs routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
* Adjusts Mammography scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
* Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
* Maintains an orderly and clean work area including equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
* Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
(5%) Mammography Department Support
* Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
* Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
* Assists with training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

Required:
* High School diploma, or equivalent
* Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
* ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing

* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for executing the day-to-day activities of patient-facing service ensuring quality assurance and customer service satisfaction while facilitating and coordinating communication between patients, family members and staff. This role provides optimal patient-centered services supporting the imaging center front office, medical records, technologists with patients through a rotation through front desk, medical records and technologist assistant roles. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(60%) Front Desk
* Serve as initial point of contact for patients and visitors, creating and providing positive legendary Patient Service Experience(s)
* Timely registration of patient(s) arrival by validating accurate demographic information and professional collection of out-of-pocket payments prior to services being rendered.
* Inform patients about delays and wait times; when necessary, follow up with patients to ensure their inquiry or complaint has been satisfactorily resolved.
* Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the supervisor or manager.
* Obtaining and validating photo identifications and insurance cards, scanning relevant documents into patients' chart electronically and categorizing appropriately.
* Provides Consent, Financial, and HIPAA compliance related documents, must be able to thoroughly explained to the patient(s) if necessary.
* Proficient utilization and application of EHR software, hardware, and programs.
* Scrutinizing prescriptions and referrals for accuracy to ensure patients are receiving the appropriate and necessary exams.
* Effectively coordinate with interdepartmental professionals to ensure patient satisfaction as it relates to appointment scheduling and admission/encounter.
* Verifying and dispensing oral contrast and preparation instructions to patients who are scheduled for upcoming appointments.
* Participates in medical office emergency routine when required. Summons ambulance or EMS and/or assists other staff members as needed.
* Managing outgoing and incoming faxes through both electronic and manual fax machines.
* Maintaining appropriate levels of administrative office supplies, (i.e., RAYUS brochures, cards, sign-in sheets).
* Contacting referring Physician offices to verify information and/or request information that is still pending and necessary for the patient's exam.
* Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while ensuring and maintaining efficient patient flow.
* Proper use of phone and written etiquette when handling correspondence.
* Maintaining reception and patient waiting area(s) such as cleanliness, sanitation, literature organization and beverage supply.
