Learn more about our work at ************************** THE OPPORTUNITY The Technology Department is seeking a Technical Support Analyst. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Technical Support Analyst will provide front-line primary technical support to end-users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide exceptional customer service in-person, via phone and email as appropriate; Resolve help desk issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues; Open, track, document, escalate, resolve, and close each problem/inquiry/request in our service management system; Collaborate with other technical team members to provide excellent service to the user community; Walk users through steps to help them resolve their technical problems; Assist with onboarding and offboarding staff, including provisioning, configuring, and removing user accounts and hardware, managing system access, and assisting during the new employee orientation; and Additional relevant tasks, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field; 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role; Working knowledge of Google Workspace and other SaaS applications such as Jira and Slack, preferred; Expert knowledge in supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365 applications; Strong customer service orientation with a helpful, solution-focused mindset; Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, VPN troubleshooting); Solid experience with imaging, provisioning, and onboarding devices in an enterprise environment using tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune; Experience enrolling and managing Android and Apple devices through mobile device management (MDM) solutions; Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests; Proficient in using remote support tools (e.g., BeyondTrust) to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues; Experience supporting and troubleshooting Dell hardware, including laptops, desktops, and docking stations; Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences; Willing and able to travel to multiple sites across New York City and New Jersey as needed; and CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus. Reporting to the Employee Relations Director, the Employee Relations Specialist will handle employee complaints, disputes, and performance matters, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with organizational policies and employment laws. The role also works in a preventative manner by providing training to managers and supervisors on topics including performance management and communication techniques, and by serving as a resource to managers and supervisors as well as to the People Department team. Learn more about our work at ************************** THE OPPORTUNITY The Staten Island Justice Center (SIJC) seeks to re-engineer the experience of criminal court in Staten Island, New York, by providing judges and attorneys meaningful alternatives to bail, fines, and jail sentences. Operating out of Richmond County Criminal Court along with community-based offices, SIJC is a team of social service providers, court-based resource coordinators, mental health practitioners, compliance specialists, and others who seek to improve the quality of justice. Supervised Release offers an alternative to jail by providing pretrial supervision, case management, and voluntary social services to people charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses, and in doing so, uses an arrest as a window of opportunity to change the direction of a participant's life, avoiding the harmful effects of incarceration. Program participants are monitored to ensure their appearance at court dates and mandatory programming, and receive referrals to services like job training, drug treatment, and mental health counseling. SIJC seeks a Case Management Coordinator for the borough's Supervised Release Program (SRP). Reporting to the SRP Director of Practice, the Case Management Coordinator is responsible for employing quality assurance measures to ensure the program is adhering to the program model and employing best practices aligned with organizational values, including a commitment to Operational Excellence. The Case Management Coordinator will provide direct supervision to Supervising Case Managers and group supervision to Case Managers and Senior Case Managers. Additionally, they will ensure that case management staff regularly engage in program-specific training and receive consistent and appropriate task supervision. The Case Management Coordinator will facilitate effective communication between this team and across all other SRP teams to ensure that the program builds on successes and proactively addresses challenges. This position leverages significant direct practice and supervisory experience to support staff in the execution of their responsibilities. Through trauma-informed supervision, case conferencing, and interdepartmental communication, the Case Management Coordinator will ensure case management and peer staff adhere to the program model through a trauma-informed lens. Critically, this position is responsible for ensuring that staff maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Center's SRP data management system and submit accurate and timely compliance reports for each participant supervised by the program. Additionally, the Case Management Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of new policies and protocols, with the goal of supporting staff to deliver the best possible services to participants enrolled in the Supervised Release Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for quality assurance, monitoring the team's compliance with program requirements and court reporting obligations; Oversee routine and accurate documentation to ensure best practices and court reporting obligations are consistently practiced; Responsible for convening Supervising Case Managers and their direct reports in response to deviations from the program model or other unfilled responsibilities; Responsible for consistent and effective cross-team communication and collaboration to proactively identify successes, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen programming, create opportunities for meaningful collaboration, and maximize internal and external resources and expertise; Facilitate bi-weekly meetings across the case management team; Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with Coordinators and the Compliance team to align direct practice with fidelity to the program model; Support policy and protocol implementation in collaboration with site leadership and the SRP Court Reform team; Maintain effective collaboration with site leadership including the Director of Practice, Director of Court Operations and Compliance, Clinical Director, and direct practice Coordinators to ensure comprehensive and aligned service delivery to participants and the program model; Serve as the secondary supervisor for their team of case management frontline staff, ensuring Supervising Case Managers are providing their staff with trauma-informed supervision and opportunities for professional growth and development; Provide trauma-informed individual task supervision to the Supervising Case Managers; Oversee and coordinate de-escalation efforts in response to incidents; Co-facilitate and participate in required de-escalation and crisis intervention training; Work closely with the SRP Court Reform Training Specialist, Training Institute, and site Training Liaison to ensure SRP staff are consistently trained as required; Support the recruitment and hiring of and onboarding and training for new case management staff; Ensure regular and equitable access to program-related external professional development and training opportunities for all staff; Participate in regular staff trainings to develop program expertise and related skill sets, including required refresher and management trainings; Please note that this role is not eligible for clinical hours; and Additional relevant tasks, as necessary. Operating out of Kings County Criminal Court and community-based offices, BJI is a team of social service providers, court-based resource coordinators, mental health practitioners, compliance specialists, and others who seek to improve the quality of justice. Supervised Release offers an alternative to jail by providing pretrial supervision, case management, and voluntary social services to people charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses, and in doing so, uses an arrest as a window of opportunity to change the direction of a participant's life, avoiding the harmful effects of incarceration. Program participants are monitored to ensure their appearance at court dates and mandatory programming, and receive referrals to services like job training, drug treatment, and mental health counseling. BJI seeks a Participant Engagement Specialist for the borough's Supervised Release Program (SRP), which provides supervision, case management, and social service connection to thousands of court-mandated participants each year. Reporting to the Case Management Coordinator, the Participant Engagement Specialist will leverage interpersonal and data-management skills to support participants' successful engagement with the program. The Participant Engagement Specialist will provide outreach to program participants who missed program orientation, intake, and those who have been disengaged for 21 days or more. Additionally, this role will effectively communicate and collaborate with intake, case management, and compliance teams to ensure accurate court reporting and continued program engagement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Complete outreach to all disengaged participants mandated to SRP in Brooklyn to re-engage them in the program; Carry a caseload of disengaged participants who failed to meet with BJI SR's intake team, for outreach purposes; Engage in weekly outreach efforts by phone and email to participants and their collateral contacts and defense attorneys to support program engagement; Monitor all participants simultaneously assigned to bail and SRP, collaborating with the clinical intake team as appropriate; Maintain accurate and timely data entry and case documentation aligned with the program model, court reporting obligations, and best practices; Collaborate with the Clinical Intake Coordinator, the intake case management, and compliance teams to ensure outreach to all participants whose orientations or intakes are incomplete or who have been disengaged from the program for 21 days or more; Contribute to consistent and effective cross-team communication; Participate in team and inter-team meetings; Participate in individual supervision and regular staff trainings to develop program expertise and related skill sets; Participate in all-staff and departmental meetings to build team cohesion, communication, and morale; Attend project events, community events, and meetings after hours, as needed; and Additional relevant tasks, as necessary. The Youth Impact program is a multi-pronged youth leadership development program focused on peer-led mentorship and violence intervention and prevention practices, with a goal to keep young people in school and out of the criminal legal system, while inspiring community safety and healing from a youth-centered perspective. NIA seeks a Hospital Responder to help create better access to on-site victim services and crisis intervention to those who have been directly impacted by violence. The Hospital Responder will support services at Kings County Hospital and on-site at the Neighbors In Action locations in Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy. The Felony ATI Court, which is led by Administrative Judge Ellen Biben, seeks to forge a new response to individuals charged with felonies by linking them to community-based social services. The Court is the first of its kind, providing an innovative model for other jurisdictions seeking to develop and implement meaningful post-conviction sentencing options for individuals facing felony charges. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Felony ATI, the Social Worker will be part of a team that provides neutral, third-party assessments and case management services to the Felony Alternative to Incarceration (ATI) Court. The Social Worker will be responsible for conducting independent clinical assessments, providing referrals to community-based services, offering comprehensive clinical case management, and monitoring participant compliance. An essential and dynamic feature of the Social Worker's role will be close collaboration with key stakeholders. The Social Worker will work regularly with the judge and court staff from New York Country Supreme Court who oversee the Felony ATI Court, as well as with other stakeholders, including the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and New York City defense organizations. Court-based social work is an exciting, unique and demanding area of practice, and the Social Worker role involves navigating and constructively engaging with differing and, at times, competing stakeholder perspectives. In OC-PRP, this includes identifying individuals who would be most likely to benefit from the program using a validated release assessment and clinical expertise to engage, support, and connect participants to community-based service providers who can meaningfully meet participants' service and resource needs. The Center's Upstate office seeks five Pre-Trail Release Specialists. The Pre-Trial Release Specialists are key to ensuring the program provides high quality service to OC-PRP participants and meets obligations to court stakeholders. Reporting to the Associate Director of Program Operations, the Pre-Trial Release Specialists will supervise participants according to their supervision level; work with participants to identify and address barriers to compliance and court attendance; conduct outreach to participants, court stakeholders, community-based service providers; make referrals to appropriate services in the community that support participant stability and maintain accurate and timely court reporting on participants' compliance with program requirements. Learn more about our work at ************************** THE OPPORTUNITY Since 2011, the Brownsville Community Justice Center (BCJC), an operating project of the Center, has worked to address systemic inequality, enhance public safety, and create opportunities for residents to lead in building a safer, more equitable community. The Neighborhood Safety Council (NSC) builds on BCJC's decade of community-driven work, serving as a platform for residents, government partners, and community stakeholders to co-design and implement initiatives that improve safety, foster economic opportunity, and reduce reliance on the justice system. The Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in building and sustaining community participation in the NSC, with a focus on recruiting, developing and managing a Youth Leadership Council (YLC) that amplifies the voices of young people in shaping community safety strategies and executing public design projects. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Engagement Coordinator will design youth-focused leadership opportunities, facilitate skill-building workshops, and ensure that youth perspectives are integrated into the NSC's priorities and decision-making processes. This position is ideal for someone passionate about youth development, community organizing, and leadership cultivation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Youth Leadership Council Development & Management: Design, launch, and manage the Youth Leadership Council (YLC), recruiting participants from across Brownsville, with an emphasis on those directly impacted by the justice system; Facilitate regular YLC meetings, workshops, and leadership development sessions that build skills in advocacy, public speaking, community organizing, and policy engagement; Support youth in developing and implementing action plans that contribute to community safety, economic mobility, and systemic change; and Provide mentorship, coaching, and individualized support to youth leaders. Community Engagement & Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach to recruit youth and residents for the YLC and other NSC activities, using both digital platforms and on-the-ground engagement; Coordinate inclusive and accessible forums, workshops, and events to encourage youth and resident participation in NSC activities; and Collaborate with local schools, community-based organizations, and service providers to connect youth with opportunities and resources. Partnership Building & Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Manager to cultivate partnerships with youth-serving organizations, city agencies (DYCD, DOE, etc.), and community groups to enhance youth leadership opportunities; and Engage stakeholders to support youth-led initiatives and ensure alignment with broader NSC goals. Program Administration & Evaluation: Track participation, attendance, and outcomes for the YLC, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting; Gather youth feedback and integrate lessons learned into ongoing program development; Support grant compliance by contributing to reports, documentation, and communication with funders and partners; and Additional tasks as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in youth development, education, social work, or a related field required; equivalent lived/professional experience will be considered; Minimum 2-3 years of experience in youth development, community organizing, or leadership training required; Experience working with young people ages 14-24, particularly those impacted by the justice system or economic hardship; Strong facilitation and group management skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of youth and residents; Demonstrated commitment to equity, restorative justice, and community-led approaches; Excellent organizational and communication skills; Familiarity with Brownsville or Central Brooklyn communities strongly preferred; and Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for youth and community events. The Queens Community Justice Center is seeking to hire a Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Therapist for a community-based violence prevention program that aims to reduce violent recidivism through intensive and voluntary therapeutic services. The FFT Therapist will report to the Justice Center's FFT Supervisor. This program is part of the Atlas initiative and uses the evidence-based Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model to engage young people and their families in holistic anti-violence services. Atlas works to prevent violence by meeting people during a crisis, like a recent arrest or open court case and connecting them to a change process that nurtures hope and strengthens relationships. As part of Atlas, the Queens Community Justice Center is offering FFT to young people at elevated risk for violence in the community, victimization, or a re-arrest. FFT is an evidence-based intervention for youth and families. This high-quality, strength-focused family counseling model is designed for high-risk youth and young adults who have been referred by the criminal court, juvenile justice, mental health, school, or child welfare systems. Services are short-term and typically offered in the home, though services can be offered in the office or other community settings.
