Position Summary
The Center is hiring a Loan Processor to join a team dedicated to helping middle- and working-class homeowners sustain affordable homeownership repair loans, forgivable loans, and grants throughout the State of New York. The candidate we are seeking to fill this position will play an integral role in assisting the loan origination team, customer interaction from origination to closing, and loan packaging to support the underwriting team. In addition, the ideal candidate will be driven to support the mission of helping homeowners successfully navigate through a broad range of homeownership affordability issues, including but not limited to foreclosure prevention, scam prevention, coastal recovery, and resiliency.
This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position.
This is a hybrid role intended for candidates within commuting distance from our office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Evaluate and assess residential mortgage loan applications as assigned.
Perform a preliminary review of each application for program eligibility, compliance, and completeness.
Maintain contact and support between the Loan Originator and all other Center departments throughout the processing of the loan, which may include Underwriting, Closing, and Finance. Outreach to homeowners, advocates, and legal counsel.
Accurately organize all file documentation to comply with industry standards.

The Rehab CNA assists in the delivery of rehabilitation services under the supervision and direction of rehabilitation personnel within the disciplines of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology as allowed by state and federal regulations. Transports residents on active therapy program, as well as assists in therapy related activities assigned by rehab personnel. Responsible for clerical duties assigned by the Therapist Managers and other rehabilitation staff for timely and organized maintenance of equipment, medical records, soft charts and other documentation. Basic computer work and data entry may be required.
Assists in direct therapy service provision by carrying out delegated, selected patient related tasks under the direct supervision of a therapist allowed by state and federal law.
Transports patients/residents to and from therapy department safely and efficiently. Ensure vendors fulfill obligations and maintain service quality, addressing deficiencies using discretion and independent judgment.
Compliance & Safety Management

Position Summary
The Center is hiring a Senior Mortgage Closing Manager, SPM to join a team dedicated to helping middle and working-class homeowners sustain affordable homeownership throughout the State of New York. The candidate we are seeking to fill this position will play an integral role in managing servicing staff, tracking loan performance, ensuring that payments and disbursements are processed correctly, and managing the compliance and QC audits of the recently closed pipeline. In addition to facilitating the mortgage loan closing process, the ideal candidate will also be driven to support the mission of helping homeowners successfully navigate through a broad range of homeownership affordability issues, including, but not limited to, foreclosure prevention, scam prevention, coastal recovery, and resiliency.
This is a full-time, exempt position. This is a hybrid role intended for candidates within commuting distance from our office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor a closing pipeline and close residential mortgage loans in a compliant, timely, and applicant-friendly manner. This includes monitoring and reviewing all closing documents to ensure accuracy, adherence to program guidelines, and achievement of production goals.
Coordinate loan closings across several different loan programs and products by actively working with assigned lending team staff and management.
Review and refine processes to close, perform post-closing duties including coordination with the Finance Department, and conduct quality control of mortgage loans in a compliant manner.
Manage the organization of closing and post-closing documentation;
Title review and clearance.
Other duties as assigned.
Track and trend all invoices related to vendor fees and borrower-paid fees.
Ensure all funds are accurately dispersed to third parties.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in residential mortgage closing;
Understanding of requirements to integrate products with loan closing for new lending programs;
Experience with staff management and training preferred.
Experience drafting and updating policies and procedures preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to track and prioritize a diverse number of issues over a broad workload;
A strong capacity to handle high volumes of loan closings oversight.
