Role:
The Center's Bogota Office is looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and highly organized intern with a commitment to reproductive rights issues to engage in a variety of mini projects related to the Colombia office. This internship will provide someone with experience in many aspects of as well as insight into the inner working of organizational management.
The internship is full-time, beginning January 12th through July 10th, 2026.
Responsibilities: As an intern with LAC Office, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assist with organizing/ maintaining operations and finance documents.
· Become familiar with SharePoint software and upload financial information.
· Organize the office storage room.
· Support in preparation and submission of credit card expenses, travel advances and expenses.
· Assist in backing up office services functions as required (purchase of kitchen and office supplies, scanning, copying, printing and distributing documents as needed, help desk, filing, etc.)
· Assist with shipments and delivery as needed (national and international).
· Support event logistic when needed.
· Assist in the coordination of services with vendors when requested.
· Assist with special projects as needed.
· Other administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
· To be eligible for this internship, the candidate must be enrolled in a college or university; bachelor's candidate, technician or technologist.
· Pursuing a degree in Business Administration/ Industrial Engineering/Management/other related.
· Fluency in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing), minimum B1 level.
· Must have exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a growing group.
· Outgoing, personable, approachable, enthusiastic, resourceful and highly organized.
· Ability to handle & maintain confidential matters appropriately.
· Have the capability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed.

Internship Summary: The Center's Latin America & the Caribbean team is looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and highly organized intern with a commitment to reproductive rights issues to engage in communications and advocacy activities to enforce reproductive rights norms in national, regional and international fora.
The internship is full time from beginning January 12th to July 10th, 2026.
Responsibilities: As an Communications Intern with LAC Office, your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist communications and logistics for legal and programs projects of the Center and help ensure the execution of the Center's communications initiatives.
• Assist with the daily monitoring of press mentions and compiling media coverage reports.
• Assist in the execution of logistics for in-person and digital events. This could include arranging airline tickets and other logistical details related to lodging and transportation of Center staff and external guests, compiling inputs and talking points from the team, preparing supporting documents, and others.
• Assist the update and maintenance of media databases and contact lists.
• Assisting with logistical needs related to communications initiatives, such as the shipment of materials, contact with suppliers, and making quotations.
• Downloading pictures, videos, interviews, and other materials and subsequent uploading to the Center's cloud storage.
• Assist in basic video editing and design of basic graphic materials.

Qualifications:

What You Will Do
Applies mutually shared and lived experiences navigating the systems of care as a caregiver. Serves as a role model, advocate, and mentor for children and families
Assists with obtaining and maintaining clients' entitlements, including Medicaid, Public Assistance, SSI as well as assisting with problems related to housing or utilities

Pathologists' Assistant - Hospital Laboratory

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathologists' Assistant (PA) to join a fast-paced hospital laboratory team in Tacoma, WA. This role supports surgical pathology and grossing operations across all case types, contributing directly to high-quality, timely diagnostic outcomes. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term placement within a collaborative, mission-driven clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform gross examination and dissection on all surgical pathology specimens, ranging from routine to complex cases.
Assist with frozen sections, tissue triage, and specimen photography as needed.
Prepare and submit appropriate sections for histologic processing following established protocols.
Collaborate closely with pathologists, histotechnologists, and OR staff to ensure accurate and timely workflow.
Maintain detailed, accurate case documentation and uphold all CAP/CLIA regulatory standards.
Utilize Dragon for dictation and contribute to case entry/documentation within CoPath (experience preferred).
Support quality assurance, process improvements, and equipment maintenance within the grossing suite.
Participate in teaching or training activities for residents or lab staff as appropriate.
Qualifications
Master's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program (required).
ASCP certification as a PA (ASCP), or eligibility with ability to obtain certification within required timeframe.
Experience covering all case types in a hospital-based surgical pathology setting.
Familiarity with Dragon voice dictation and CoPath LIS strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule & Work Arrangement
Full-time, contract-to-hire.
Day shift; schedule may vary depending on surgical volume and operational needs.
