Caitlin Zulla
SCA Health

I am the CEO of Northeastern Rural Health Clinics, assuming that role in May of 2020. Previous to that I was the COO of Northeastern, and started in October of 2017. In directing the daily operations of the clinic, I focus on the high quality delivery of patient services, while keeping an eye on the bottom line. Prior to my employment with Northeastern, I was the CEO of three other clinics in eastern Oregon and in Northern California. I was involved in service delivery focus groups with Mercy St. Elizabeth Hospital, and helped to reduce hospital Emergency Room visits by helping to triage patients, as the clinic was directly across the street from the ER. As part of my unique skillset, I started and operated two successful franchise operations in the Northern California area, both of which are still operating under different ownership. Both of my franchises were selected by the corporate office to be training facilities, and many potential franchisees were assisted in the development of their own franchises. One of my franchises was recognized by the Redding California Chamber of Commerce with the Outstanding Customer Service award for that year. During my undergraduate education, I took a two year hiatus and served a mission for my church in northern Japan, and can speak Japanese on a conversational level. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Klamath Health Services Initiative (KHSI). I am currently Chair of the Clinic Emergency Preparedness Peer Network (CEPPN) and am involved in other committees and sub-committees with the California Primary Care Association (CPCA). I have also worked with the Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA), the Oregon Primary Care Association (OPCA) and the National Indian Health Board (NIHB). I have used my radio skills in both simulated and real disaster scenarios, and had the opportunity to work with the U.S. Army and Air Force in assisting displaced families find clothing and shelter. I am married and have four children and four grandchildren. My hobbies include flying, cars, and amateur radio.
