CenterEdge treats its employees like members of the family.
Frequent employee appreciation events.
The leadership team is well balanced and tends to take into account the concerns central to each part of the organization.
In my experience, compensation at CenterEdge has been above the industry average.
CenterEdge employs many diverse people.
Healthy work place, competitive salary and leader in the FEC POS space
Few outing for remote employees
Working remotely
Is approachable
More outings to interact outside of work
I prepared through position research and LinkedIn
It is on par for the median
Very diverse across the copmpany
Coming through for a customer when they need it most
The pros, to me, at CenterEdge are the co-workers. I am a bit biased because I love the department I work with, but I love all my coworkers as a whole. It's like we are one big family.
I can not really think of any cons at this time. I am happy currently where I am at today with CenterEdge Software.
After the first year of my service, I was able to pick a free office supply gift. I chose a office chair. My very own office chair.
How kind hearted they are. I know the CEO because of his kids and I've worked with a lot of the leadership team. Sweet people!
I am not too certain.
I prepared for my interview by not stressing so much. The co-worker who referred me to CenterEdge told me who I was going to interview with and how kind they were and I would do great. I took that advice and just searched some top interview questions. Don't overthink it. When I moved departments, I knew the "inside circle" more (who was who and what they did), so I kind of knew what to expect which allowed me to be stress free.
I don't know.
I believe the representation of diverse demographics at CenterEdge is valued. I work with different race and ethnic groups. No one is judged from what i've seen. All have equal opportunities.
Personally, my co-workers. I don't work with the company as a whole everyday, but I do interact with my little department everyday. They truly have become some of my closest friends. It makes coming to work much more enjoyable.
There is a great team that works well together across all departments. I feel that we all work well together and build off of each other.
I think there could be better benefits overall. There could be a better 401K match than what we have now.
I enjoy the celebration week and the things that the team brings to the table. It's not always the money and things like that but sometimes it's the little things that improve moral.
I think they listen to the concerns of the team and take them to heart.
Some e-learning and some team-building
Study the information on the company and what the company is all about. Then look at the products and services and how they use them with their customers.
To be honest I am not sure I haven't looked or investigated but I think it would be a little low compared to other places at this point in time.
I think we do a great job in this area.
Knowing that I have done a great job and helped the team or our customers. Just knowing that I am making a difference.
We work in a very interesting industry (family entertainment) and really allow the flexibility needed to have a great work/life balance. Also we get the opportunity to have a lot of variety and autonomy in our work.
I love getting my birthday off every year!
During COVID we were without an office for a while, but we do now have an office again.
There is a lot of access to everyone at the top of the company and I feel as though I can voice any concerns I have.
I'd love to have more face to face interaction with my colleagues, but in and outside of work.
I feel that my compensation is on par with the industry average and I feel very valued. In my opinion, high performers do exceedingly well here.
Software and family entertainment are both very diverse industries and that is well represented within CenterEdge.
I love hearing from our clients about how they love the tools that we offer them, and how it helps them to serve their communities.
Accepted the work from home paradigm that was forced when COVID hit. Generous PTO if you stay long enough (7 years), and don't get sick a lot. Decent compensation, at least for development/engineering positions. 401K, regular salary reviews Flexible workday.
Sometimes I feel there is too much flexibility. There are times when I can't reach or otherwise collaborate with team members. No separate sick days. No annual bonus.
I love that we get paid every week (although am OK if that changes) Also, enjoying my PTO at last. When I first started, the policies were pretty miserable.
Our CEO is barely visible. I don't have any thoughts. The remaining leadership are active and visible. Mine is very supportive.
Hard to say. With pretty much everyone working remotely even offering opportunities for in person social or other events draws only a portion of the employees. We opened a new office space--maybe have an event around that. Online opportunities are often enough, but still only draw a small part of the community. Recognition? In the past, this has worked only somewhat, as the same people tended to be selected for quarterly awards. Maybe the management team should be tasked with some 'public' recognition, periodically.
How would I... Study the CenterEdge website and any publicly available training or promo material. Make a list of questions to ask. For developers, don't put stuff on your resume that is just there for keyword recognition--you will be asked, and if you don't have a clue it will look bad.
I don't really look at those statistics. I feel like the company is competitive, but also that there can be large variation between employees with the same title. This would normally and appropriately be based on experience and contributions.
I don't notice the diversity aspect a lot, but feel that the company does well. In the past, I have participated in the interview process for candidates that span a large demographic.
Identifying and/or solving problems.
The pros of working at Centeredge Software the employees work as a team with troubleshooting and supporting clients.
The cons of working at Centeredge Software are none.
My favorite perk/benefit is working remotely.
What I like best about the CEO and leadership team is having and sharing a great moral.
I have no improvement for the company culture. The company culture is great.
I prepared for an interview by reviewing and learning more about the company and position before the interview.
In my experience, my compensation at Centeredge Software compared to the industry average is great.
The representation of diverse demographics within the organization is well diverse.
The teamwork and support from coworkers bring the most joy at work.
Working from home. Paid weekly.
Favoritism, no raise even with growth in your position. Training and learning to troubleshoot is difficult. Constant changes in how things are done. Speaking up only gets you called into a meeting.
Learning something new and putting my computer skills to use.
Don't know the CEO all that well so can't speak on that. The leadership team, if you aren't in the click, you aren't in the click. Some team members get away with things that others get fired for. Unfair practices, always voicing the policies and not upholding them for certain people. Or a standing policy is changed and you are not made aware. Not a lot of room to advance without being part of the click or going into the office, although the position is remote and was hired remote.

Just was me.
I do not feel it does as we are in basically in the software/IT field.
It's good. Not something I really care about.
Not being on call, solving issues on my own.
The pros of working at CenterEdge Software is there is plenty of opportunity to grow and showcase your skills. The leadership team rewards those who work hard and shows initiative towards their own success.
In my experience, the cons of working at CenterEdge software is the lack of consistent engagement events. There is an event routinely twice a year but more experiences would be nice.
Working from home with a company issued laptop, so I can work wherever I would like within the comfort of my house.
The leadership team excels at offering transparency and communication to the rest of the company.
I would improve the company culture by increasing the amount of engagement opportunities for networking/team building.
I prepared for the interview by dressing nice and bringing a fun attitude.
I work in a unique role and would have a hard time comparing my compensation to similar roles outside of my company. I am satisfied with my compensation.
The company feels very diverse. I believe there are many different representations of people and cultures.
The most fulfilling aspect of working at CenterEdge software is the opportunity to work with passionate and kind people.
No sick days, and on the lower end of overall PTO benefits, very little room to balance work and life
A lot of freedom in development, always learning about cutting edge tech
Increasing PTO or reconsidering our PTO policy, advising our employees to take time off on a regular basis, though we share a lot of time at the workplace we should all prioritize our time outside that workplace
About the same as the current industry average, but only for Salary, not for benefits, my benefits are on the much much lower side of my industries average
experience
micro management; too many internal changes; unfair practices
work from home
open door policy
talked to previous employees; reading on company
fairness across the board
not well;
it's not represented well
customers and helping them resolve issues
A great, friendly, and inclusive company to work for. We work hard but we have a lot of fun, too.
You don't get big corporate-style benefits.
Very flexible work hours and remote work.
I prepared by learning about the industry and tech stack that CenterEdge operates in so I could speak intelligently about them.
Even more activities that help with remote team building.
They support their employees and care about them personally, they aren't just cogs in a wheel.
Compensation is lower than big-corporate levels, but around the industry average for the size of the company.
CenterEdge is very diverse.
Creating awesome products for an awesome industry.
Hybrid work, dedicated team members, yearly raises, most customers/clients are great to work with as well, training opportunities
pay does not keep up with inflation, health insurance is not great
company engagement events, virtual or in person
I researched the company in order to know what they were about and ensured I considered my relevant experiences when going into the interview
Marcus is approachable. Before COVID, he'd play Werewolf with some of us over lunch and it was not only a lot of fun but nice to see him interact with us in informal ways.
The pay is about average, with cost savings from only being mandatory at the office one day a week. The rest of the compensation packaged seems average as well.
There are many POC in the company and folks who are openly LGBTQ+ who felt comfortable enough to bring their same-sex significant others with them to company events.
Helping people and successfully closing out issues.
CenterEdge is a small company run like a family. They believe in work life balance which is unusual in this day and time. They always try to promote within the company which is a big plus for career paths. CenterEdge has great people and we make every attempt to get people in the door to have a fantastic culture.
The con of working at CenterEdge is being small can sometimes hamper our ability to grow at a fast pace. It can be difficult to ramp up when needed.
Having a great work life balance is the biggest benefit. Along with just good people working at CenterEdge.
CEO is always willing to talk to everyone, he brings a wealth of knowledge and is not intimidating.
Continue to engage new people and get them comfortable with the culture. Continue to push continuing their education.
Studying the company and understanding what they do. Also bringing in thoughts and tough questions
I am compensated fairly well, not sure it is to the degree it would be at a larger company but there is a trade off for the work life balance.
The company is diverse, we higher good people and let them grow.
The people and culture
Everyone's input is welcome and people are on an even playing field. Everyone can advance and CenterEdge recognizes your areas of strength and allows you to pursue them. The team is helpful and friendly and genuine.
A smaller company doesn't always have the budget for everything
The trust and support of my team and the ability to work remotely.
They are accessible, and open to input and genuinely care about everyone who works for them
The departments are still a little sequestered, but that is improving
I looked up the company and learned as much as I could
I think we're pretty competitive, if only slightly less than average
I think they've done a good job of having diversity
Getting to work on things I find interesting and meaningful
Excellent management. Team member interaction. Tool/hardware provision for job performance
The people. Always the people. Our guys are always willing to jump in and help when there's an issue a team member needs assistance with. I've never heard 'I'm too busy' when asking for a hand, although everyone is always swamped.
Open door policy. Willingness to listen. Tolerance/understanding
I was still at My Computer Career and had a couple of brand-new certifications under my belt. I wasn't sure what kind of questions I'd be asked so I went back and reviewed all I'd learned for those.
I can't really speak to what everyone else makes but mine appears to be significantly higher than the industry average.
It's great. I think it's ignorant to base hiring on the color of someone's skin. It should always be about who's best for the position that's available.
When one of our clients lets me know how well I've done to meet his/her expectations.
I think the pros of working at CenterEdge are the flexibility, the mutual respect, and the people.
I like that the CEO and the leadership team are extremely approachable and friendly.
My compensation is about even with the industry average for my position and experience.
remote work, flexibility, asynchronous work
not being able to see the software in action
Service Anniversary awards - 10 years you get a trip!
They trust the team to get the work done
Researched the company online
better medical benefits
It is better than the industry average
Diversity is key
knowing that people use our software to enable others to have fun
