JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic offers a variety of services to post 9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard and their family members. Centerstone values the ability to provide students a rich learning environment of guidance, training and supervision during a student's university education. These highly competitive positions that last two consecutive semesters and allow for selected student to work under-supervision, while learning various skills at outreach, marketing, community partnerships and social media strategies.
This is an unpaid internship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Outreach Director and Clinic Communicator to assist in raising the visibility of the clinic among the local military and veterans' community.
Participate in onsite and/or community outreach events to build brand awareness.
Engage in building new outreach events/curriculum based on community needs to minimize gaps in veteran and military family support.
Support clinic events through online registration management/promotion and event material preparation.
Assist with content creation for clinic's social media platforms in adherence to Centerstone and CVN brand standards.
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including event flyers and other digital assets for distribution in the community.
Monitor the market media landscape and provide insight on new ways to reach target audiences.
Attend weekly or designated meetings with the Outreach Director and Clinic Communicator to stay in sync on projects or assignments.
Assist with preparing outreach and community involvement reports for Clinic Leadership and Cohen Veterans Network Central Office staff, including Salesforce data entry, JotForms, and Connect.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
Must be able to participate in required clinic trainings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and reliable.
Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Publisher, Access and PowerPoint.
Sound time management practices and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to provide follow-thru on all projects or duties.
Knowledge of social media platforms (primarily Facebook and Instagram) and content creation platforms (Canva, Adobe, etc).
Working knowledge of Salesforce, Jotform, and Eventbrite a plus.

Must be enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program in communications, marketing, business, journalism, media, graphic design or related field and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provide therapy to clients in a school setting while maintaining good clinical judgement.
Intern will satisfy internship requirements for graduate level counseling program by providing school-based therapy in Manchester city schools. Centerstone will work with the intern and the professor of the internship program to ensure the student meets all internship requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements
A Master's degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or a specialization in MH Counseling
License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.
OR
Applicants with a Master's degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria:
Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework.
Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas:
Clinical treatment and treatment planning
Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
Psychopathology
Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
Experience Requirements
A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing treatment to individuals with mental health disorders is required. Substance use disorders experience preferred.
Internship experience may be applied toward the minimum experience requirement for recent graduates.
Certification/Licensure
Must possess a valid driver's license and meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy.

The Quantum AI for Bio (QAI4Bio) Lab led by Dr. Christoph Gorgulla in the Center of Excellence for Data-Driven Discovery in the Structural Biology Department, seeks a skilled and highly motivated student intern in quantum computing/quantum machine learning for problems in the life sciences (chemistry, biology, drug discovery). Our research group is focused on developing state-of-the-art computational methods for ligand/drug discovery, using machine learning, high-performance/cloud computing, and quantum chemistry and quantum computing. Our group also includes a wet lab dedicated to experimentally verifying the computationally predicted results in real-world drug discovery projects.
We are seeking a highly motivated student intern with deep expertise in machine learning and deep learning. You will join an interdisciplinary team to push the boundaries of what's possible at the intersection of artificial intelligence and molecular modeling.

Key learning objectives:
Design, implement, and optimize quantum computing/quantum machine learning methods for applications in drug discovery, biology, or quantum chemistry.
Integrate and deploy models into our computational discovery pipelines.

Contribute to high-impact scientific publications and present research findings.
Study levels this internship would complement:

Clinic Services
Mental Health Cooperative is seeking psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner interns to assist in providing clinical mental health services to clients of all ages. This internship will provide the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned in school to develop clinical skills using evidence-based practice. Under supervision of their preceptor, interns will perform direct patient care including diagnosing psychiatric illness and recommending psychotropic medication when appropriate and in accordance with standardized procedures. Interns will provide general counseling, guidance and health instruction to clients and family members. Interns will complete clinical documentation in a timely manner that is consistent with agency standards. Interns will play a role in the client's treatment team with other departments throughout the agency. Additional learning and training opportunities will be available.
Many of the clients at Mental Health Cooperative are severely and persistently mentally ill and don't have the means to pay for the treatment they need. MHC works primarily with patients who are uninsured or have TennCare, to give them the same care offered to others that will allow them to better manage their symptoms and live productive lives.
Requirements: PMHNP interns must be master's level students in an accredited advanced practice nursing program. This internship requires a minimum of one semester and maximum of three semester commitment.

The Northwestern Medicine Pre-Psychology Undergraduate Internship offers a valuable opportunity for undergraduate students to become immersed in the healthcare environment through project work, observation and educational seminars. This paid summer program is based downtown at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Throughout the summer, students will work on their assigned project three days and shadow once a week to gain observation hours.
The Pre-Psychology Undergraduate Intern's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
