Nurse practitioners are required to have a master's degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Certification as an Adult Acute care NPfrom a nationally recognized certifying body required. Physician Assistants with master's degree and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. 2+ years of experience preferred. Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, complex hospital environment. NC or SC Licensure, depending on practice locations Nurse Practitioner Candidates: Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice required. Acute care certification required. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP, or PNP-AC board certification preferred based population served. Physician Assistant Candidates: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required.
