First year 1968 revenue for the new company was $98,500.
Tim’s youth and professional life paralleled the growth of CentiMark after his Dad founded the company in 1968 when he was eight years old.
Dunlap then started Northern Chemical Corporation in 1968 with one associate and $1,000 seed money from D&B Laboratories.
CentiMark became the official name of the growing business in 1987.
His professional development in the business of CentiMark continued as an Estimator, Technical Representative, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Group Director before his appointment to CentiMark’s President and COO on January 1, 2003.
From April 12 -19, 2021, our CentiMark blogs will feature memories from several of CentiMark’s longest term associates and a focus on the “Mark” that CentiMark and the Dunlap’s have contributed to the commercial roofing and flooring industries.
We’re celebrating CentiMark’s 53rd anniversary on April 19, 2021.
