SHIFT DETAILS Day Shift: Monday thru Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm STARTING WAGES Day Shift: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour * Incentive pay up to $200 per week based on productivity & attendance* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspect merchandise to ensure only quality product is used to complete the order. * Meet production, quality, and accuracy levels as established by business unit. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment. * Select food and/or accessory products to fill customer orders completely and accurately. * Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, as required by operational needs. * Flexibility to work in other areas and departments, as needed. Must be able to cross train in other departmental areas. * Maintain a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Follow all food safety policies and procedures including performing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed. * Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safety guidelines. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. * Safely operate and become certified in use of electric pallet jack, walk-rider, and/or other required equipment. QUALIFICATIONS * 1 or more years related warehouse experience, preferred. * Voice picking (Vocollect)/RF scanner experience, preferred. * Ability to count and perform basic math. * Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and able to stand and walk for long periods of time. * Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. WORKING CONDITIONS * The warehouse is a non-climate-controlled facility. The outside temperature generally reflects the inside temperature with little air circulation. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust. * Must be able to wear safety glasses, safety vest and any other personal protective equipment as required for the facility/work area (i.e., gloves, safety shoes). The Forklift Operator/Order Picker maintains production flow to and from the production line and coordinates inbound and outbound loads to meet production needs and customer orders during shipping season.
