Job Description
As an operating room tech (ORT), you'll help with surgical operations before, during and/or after the procedure. A member of the Surgical Services team who works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with all aspects of the care of patients in Surgery and the performance of sterile processing duties.
Surgical Technologists (ST) are allied health professionals, who are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings.
ST work under medical supervision to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
