Your Impact as a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN In this role, you will: Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents. Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed. Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders. Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort. Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders. Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments. Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity. Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents. Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures. Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
