Job Description: Position Summary The Hydrovac Operator is responsible for operating Hydrovac trucks to safely and efficiently excavate soil and expose underground utilities using high-pressure water and vacuum systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient production runs, maintaining high-quality output, and keeping the work environment safe and organized. Key Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment in adherence to standard operating procedures. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime. Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and make minor adjustments or repairs. Inspect finished products for quality, report defects, and carry out minor rework as necessary. Assist with setup and changeover of production lines. Maintain accurate production data and documentation (e.g., quantities, cycle times, machine status). Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols. Read job traveler/bill of materials to ensure correct components are used. Record production in Plex. Complete all required production records.
