Summary
Lincoln Electric Automation is seeking a Quality Technician for our Bettendorf, IA location to perform in-process and final inspections, maintain quality standards, and support continuous improvement within a fast-paced automation environment. This role ensures that assemblies, weldments, and tooling meet engineering and customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections on assemblies, weldments, and fabricated components.
Maintain and calibrate inspection and measuring equipment.
Identify and document nonconformities; assist in corrective actions.
Work with engineering and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.
Provide feedback to improve workflow, documentation, and process efficiency.
Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
Support assembly, fit-up, hydraulic line plumbing, and customer run-off.
Assist with field start-up and customer training as needed (overnight travel required).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Required Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with CMM systems (Leica, Faro Arm) and PolyWorks preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, inspection tools, and procedures.
Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

A Brief Summary of This Position:
This position reports to the Quality Supervisor. The NDT Inspector - Intermediate will evaluate the assembly of fabricated materials by dimensional checks, visual inspection of welds and conduct nondestructive testing by ultrasonic, mag particle, and liquid penetrant processes with knowledge working under a fully certified Level II Inspector. Responsible for coordination of the Quality area to meet production goals. Completes daily paperwork. Demonstrates a commitment to quality, productivity, safety and environmental policies. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

* Level II NDT certifications or be able to obtain Level II certification within agreed upon time by Valmont

The Quality Control Inspector 1 supports the organization in the development, maintenance and execution of a quality control program that will allow the business to continually improve. Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, machined, welded, and coated parts ordered and received at TEI (TRENDSETTER ENGINEERING, INC) headquarters from vendors and internal machine shop for quality and accuracy. Verify parts received against engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing records.
Prepare electronic inspection reports for incoming products.
Maintain incoming inspection log.
Issue, document, and follow up on NCR's.
Manage calibrated measuring equipment and certificate log.
As necessary, perform other duties, requiring the same level of skill & responsibility.
Support any new quality initiatives as required.
Be familiar with company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures.
Share knowledge & best practice across the company.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or at least 5 years of previous experience related to quality control inspection, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
Advanced skills in dimensional measurement and verification, utilizing all necessary tools.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Share point and Microsoft 365 required.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, plan and organize work in an efficient manner, and work well under stress and time pressures.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
