This position reports to the Alarms Dept Manager and is responsible for leading their assigned job, and performing fire alarm system repairs and installations. He/she will direct the activities of their assigned Helper and train him/her on the proper way to service fire alarm systems. All work must be performed accurately and timely. Day to Day: Installs, tests, and repairs fire alarm systems. Consult with client on system requirements; provide system recommendations. Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and electrical wiring; makes adjustments and repairs as required. Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
