Div. 48 Orlando, FL
Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
Completion of all required weekly paperwork for CFP and as directed by the General Contractor for the job to which crew is assigned.
Communicating with designer before making any design changes.
Communicates with designer regarding any material shortages.
Producing red-line drawings to turn in to designer.
Communicating project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Attending project and coordination meetings as required.
Completion and submission of daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contactor as required.
Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills, email.
Other Requirements:
Pre-employment drug screen required; overtime may be required.

Fire Alarm Helpers
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for Fire Alarm Helpers in our Tampa, FL branch to work in the surrounding areas. The Fire Alarm Helper is responsible for providing assistance to Service Foremen and Technicians on a daily basis. He/she ensures that proper work is conducted in a timely and accurate manner, assists with alarm work, and follows all codes and WAFS standards. This is a fast paced position requiring the ability to climb ladders frequently, use industry tools, work overhead frequently, lift up to 60 pounds, reach into the air, push, pull, bend, climb, and walk regularly.
The Alarm Helper reports to the Service & Alarms Superintendent/Manager and works under the guidance of the Alarm Foreman on jobsites.
Day to Day:
Ability to work closely with the Foremen to troubleshoot, repair, and install fire alarm systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications
What are the Qualifications for this position?
Electrical Experience preferred
Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Travel within the local community is required.
Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons, including summer months.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening, including 10 years of employment verification, is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for Fire Sprinkler Fitters and Helpers in our Fort Myers branch to work in the surrounding areas. Fitters and Helpers support the Commercial Foreman with daily tasks on the job site. They report to the Commercial Superintendent/Manager and work under the direction and supervision of the Commercial Foreman.
This is a fast paced position requiring the ability to climb ladders frequently, use industry tools, work overhead frequently, lift up to 60 pounds, reach into the air, push, pull, bend, climb, and walk regularly.
Day to Day:
Install Fire Sprinkler systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
You will work with the Foreman on the job site to follow procedures, blueprints, and instructions to assemble and install pipes, tubes, and fittings. This includes connecting fire pump valves and pipes using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints and hand tools.
Assist with and secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangers using hand and power tools.
Run lines and sprinkler heads straight and in accordance with plans, adjust hangers, etc.
Very importantly, you will ensure systems are glued together properly and follow procedures to test the system for leaks.
Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.

Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our Fort Myers, FL, branch to work in the surrounding areas. The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for the installation of Fire Sprinklers with the assistance of Helpers and Fitters on job sites and is completed on schedule and within budget.

Our Fire Sprinkler Foreman are responsible for developing a strong relationship with the General Contractor to exceed all their expectations and ensure quality, timely installation is achieved.

Qualifications
What are the Qualifications for this position?
3+ years of previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman
Knowledge and experience installing fire sprinklers, reading blueprints, putting systems on test, etc.
The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator.
Must be able to supervise the overall installation process as well as supervision of Fitters and Helpers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.

Day to Day:
Install Fire Sprinkler systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.

Assist with and secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangers using hand and power tools.

Very importantly, you will ensure systems are glued together properly and follow procedures to test the system for leaks.
Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service Dept. Fitters in our Jacksonville Fl. branch to work in the surrounding areas.

Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our Tampa FL branch to work in the surrounding areas. The Fire Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for the installation of Fire Sprinklers with the assistance of Helpers and Fitters on job sites and is completed on schedule and within budget.
This is a fast paced position requiring the ability to climb ladders frequently, use industry tools, work overhead frequently, lift up to 60 pounds, reach into the air, push, pull, bend, climb, and walk regularly.
Day to Day:
Responsible for completing Installation of Fire Sprinklers accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsible for leading their assigned jobs and the supervision of Helpers and Fitters on job sites.
Our Fire Sprinkler Foreman are responsible for developing a strong relationship with the General Contractor to exceed all their expectations and ensure quality, timely installation is achieved.
Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications
What are the Qualifications for this position?
3+ years of previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman
Knowledge and experience installing fire sprinklers, reading blueprints, putting systems on test, etc.
The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator.
Must be able to supervise the overall installation process as well as supervision of Fitters and Helpers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
A company vehicle will be provided for this position requiring a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.

Fire Sprinkler Fitters
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitters in our Deerfield, FL, branch to work in and surrounding areas. Our Fitters support the Commercial Foreman with daily tasks on the job site. They report to the Commercial Superintendent/Manager and work under the direction and supervision of the Commercial Foreman.
This is a fast paced position requiring the ability to climb ladders frequently, use industry tools, work overhead frequently, lift up to 60 pounds, reach into the air, push, pull, bend, climb, and walk regularly.
Day to Day:
Install Fire Sprinkler systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
You will work with the Foreman on the job site to follow procedures, blueprints, and instructions to assemble and install pipes, tubes, and fittings. This includes connecting fire pump valves and pipes using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints and hand tools.
Assist with and secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangers using hand and power tools.
Run lines and sprinkler heads straight and in accordance with plans, adjust hangers, etc.
Very importantly, you will ensure systems are glued together properly and follow procedures to test the system for leaks.
Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 60 pounds.

What are the Qualifications for this position?
2-5 years experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
Construction experience preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Travel within the local community is required with reliable transportation.
Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
Completion of all required weekly paperwork for CFP and as directed by the General Contractor for the job to which crew is assigned.
Communicating with designer before making any design changes.
Communicates with designer regarding any material shortages.
Producing red-line drawings to turn in to designer.
Communicating project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
Attending project and coordination meetings as required.
Completion and submission of daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contactor as required.
Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills, email.
Other Requirements:
