**What You'll Be Doing** Cadmus seeks a mid-level consultant with experience in U.S. energy industry/utility potential studies and demand side management resource planning and to join our Planning and Assessment Team. The Energy Division at Cadmus provides advanced analytic and strategic consulting services to energy companies, utilities, governments, and non-profit organizations. We are looking for smart, creative, intellectually curious, and flexible people who enjoy working on technical challenges, have experience conducting potential studies for North American utilities and an understanding of utility planning, preferably in a consulting environment.
The selected candidate will contribute to demand-side management resource potential studies and produce detailed deliverables that energy clients can use to inform short-term program and long-term resource planning decisions. They will support projects from start to finish, including conducting quantitative analysis, collaborating across project teams, and contributing to written reports and presentations. **Responsibilities**
The selected candidate will help characterize energy efficiency and demand response impacts on a per building basis, coordinate meetings with a wide variety of clean-energy stakeholders, draft research findings, develop innovative approaches to solving clean energy challenges, conduct secondary research about emerging energy technologies, or present your work to external or internal parties. As a planning and assessment research consultant, the selected candidate will:
+ Conduct research and analysis related to demand-side potential assessments and integrated resource planning across a range of technologies including energy efficiency, building electrification, demand response, EVs, solar, battery storage, combined heat and power, and other emerging technologies
+ Provide input to inform data analytics and modeling
+ Build or run models and analysis to assess demand side management potentials and integrated resource planning
+ Synthesize research findings and analysis outcomes to derive insights relevant to client objectives
+ Develop detailed reports and presentations, clearly articulating findings, methodologies, and data sources, and actionable recommendations
+ Lead consulting project tasks including:
+ Budget tracking, task planning, and team collaboration
+ Communicating clearly and professionally with project managers, other team members, and clients to accomplish project goals and with support teams, including accounting, accounts payable, contracts, and operations regarding the health and status of tasks
+ Taking accountability for task quality, completion, budget, etc., including ensuring all deliverables meet Cadmus standards and exceed client expectations
+ Support business development activities, including proposals
+ Nurture and build existing client relationships as a task lead
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science
+ At least 5 years of experience managing or leading research or planning projects that include both qualitative and quantitative techniques
+ An understanding of the technical and analytical processes required to estimate demand side management potential
+ Direct experience working on or supporting utility demand-side management potential studies, energy efficiency program planning, and/or resource planning
+ Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple tasks
+ Demonstrated understanding of concepts related to energy efficiency, demand response, solar, battery storage, electrification, and/or distributed energy resource potential studies
+ Experience in data analysis and interpretation
+ Experience with task planning and budget tracking
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complicated issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
+ Experience presenting research findings in reports, client presentations, or analytical models
+ Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master of Arts or Science in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science
+ Prior experience managing, evaluating, or modeling demand response programs
+ Prior consulting experience working independently to make decisions
+ Experience with staff management and development
+ Business development experience
+ Intermediate to advanced skills with R and/or Python

Position Summary:
Perform preventative maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, converter dolly under minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition which may require replacement of parts.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery requiring the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Your role and responsibilities:
As a Technical Support Specialist - VFDs you will be responsible for providing technical support to ABB Customers/ End users, Sales Channel, Product Management Teams, and ABB Drive Services. The area of technical support includes but is not limited to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), 3 Phase Power, System Control Wiring, and Connectivity.

You will be mainly accountable for:
•Provide technical support via phone & email for common problems related to the application of Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). This includes but isn't limited to assisting customers and field techs with commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty evaluations.
•Analyze problems and initiate effective measures for their solution. Coordinate activities with related groups to most efficiently achieve objectives to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate proactively in contributing feedback to the Quality department regarding product quality issues.
•Execute product warranty while ensuring customer satisfaction and simultaneously achieving cost control objectives. Provide labor authorization for independent service representatives known as the Drives Authorized Service Contractors (DASCs) to perform troubleshooting and repair work on Drives at customer sites throughout North America. Execute policy to help support Drives that are out of warranty.
•Maintain communication with other departments to stay abreast of product release and up-dates. Maintain technical competence in troubleshooting Drives. Enter each reportable case as applicable in the Salesforce Case Management System. Provide adequate notes in the case for each call.
•Required to provide technical support during the evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant Electrical, Technical experience OR associate's degree and 4 years of relevant Electrical, Technical experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of relevant Electrical, Technical experience required.
Knowledge of how Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) work, required.
Have a firm understanding in the principles of electricity. Must be able to apply these principles in the troubleshooting of drives.
Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written. Must be computer-literate.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of or direct experience with motors, and/or control system wiring and communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.

Execute Service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines. • Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer orders and expectations. Builds and maintains good relationships with customers, understands their needs, and identifies new sales opportunities to communicate internally.
• Coordinates, prepares, and ensures that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet the appropriate quality standards for service activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and expertise.
• Prepares all documents and reports to be delivered to the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
• Identifies potential equipment failures proactively and requests corrective actions. Troubleshoots equipment failures and makes recommendations to prevent future issues.
• Identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them within the organization. Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
• Applies safety rules and practices, as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or
equivalent military experience or Associates Degree with 2 or more years'
experience in servicing critical power equipment

Preferred:

Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording all incoming parts, materials, and supplies.
Issuing and documenting maintenance parts through SAP or other computerized maintenance systems.
Creating and processing purchase requisitions for stock replenishment and new part needs.
Maintaining an organized, clean, and compliant storeroom environment in accordance with GMP and safety standards.
Performing regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliations; identifying and correcting discrepancies.
Labeling, organizing, and storing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins to optimize space utilization.
Collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure parts are available for scheduled and emergency work.
Supporting work order accuracy by updating issued parts, labor hours, and completion status in CMMS or SAP.
Assisting in maintaining preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) systems as required.
Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, maintaining certification as required.
Participating in safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Important Details:
This is a full-time, on-site position on 2nd shift (2:45 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.).Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Principal Accountabilities
Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc...
Manage the workflow process associated with electronics and some electromechanical areas of the facility, including the ASRS system

Required Qualifications

2 year degree or better in electrical or electromechanical technologies or 3 years of experience with industrial process controls and industrial networking
Competency in basic electrical 24 and 120 volt AC and DC circuits
Basic knowledge of Windows XP/7 operating systems

Responsibilities:

Perform the necessary work with a minimum of direct supervision to identify and solve problems.
