Cerner Consultant (mid level): PowerChart: Inpatient and Ambulatory Orders
This position can be done remote (US Only) with little or no travel. Must be US citizen. Must be able to pass the drug and background screen.
Pay: $55-$70 / Hour W2 with full benefits.
We are seeking a consultant for the Cerner PowerChart, inpatient, and ambulatory orders modules . We have a very hot need on a three (3) month project that could develop into a long-term project assignment for someone to assist in a build and deployment/immigration for a large Cerner lab environment!
- Consultant is responsible for communicating, collaborating and working to design and customize clients’ new or updated computer systems.
- The Consultant will support specific Cerner software services.
- The Consultant will communicate with and support clients on a day-to-day basis.
- The Consultant’s end goal is to support clients through Cerner upgrades, system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance, which can include system testing, troubleshooting, issue management, and training.
- Will support the Lead consultant on the project.
- Must have build experience: Power chart: Inpatient and Ambulatory Orders.
- Cerner PowerChart build including PowerNote, PowerForm, PowerPlan, ESH, and Dynamic Docs.Design, Build, Maintenance, and support for Cerner Message Center. Complete Cerner Ambulatory build including orders, tasks, Ambulatory Summary, Organizer, Invitations, ePrescribe, and Health Maintenance.Provide knowledge and understanding of DCWs, maintenance, and Discern rules writing for Ambulatory.
- Need to be able to make changes as directed to the Orders Module and ESH (Event Set Hierarchy).
- Demonstrates Ambulatory workflow (Provider, Nursing, Front Office, Coder, and Ancillary staff, including lab, radiology, medication administration, ePrescribe, and other Orders workflows) and solution knowledge, in accordance with Cerner standards.
- Serve as Cerner Analyst for Ambulatory and PowerChart optimization providing system optimization, testing, validation, and development of education for end users.
