WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Perform installation, inspection and testing of all types of fire alarm and engineered and pre-engineered suppression systems at the required frequencies in accordance with the requirements and instructions contained in the applicable NFPA codes and standards
Perform programming, testing, final inspections, as-built drawings and customer training for installations. Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire alarm and engineered and pre-engineered suppression systems
Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Maintain vehicle in clean and orderly fashion. Keep vehicle stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform the job
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require
Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
Perform on-site and/or off-site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of fire alarm and suppression systems
Discuss deficiencies noted with customer, explaining the problem and its resolution
There may be situations which require work on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. For some locations, these demands will be more frequent or required than others.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess the ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals, and percentages
Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions, operating systems and software applications such as Windows, Word, Apple IOS, Android and Outlook. In addition, required to learn and use industry specific devices and software
Must currently have a valid U.S. driver's license

This individual is required to prospect in an assigned geographic territory. Attract and convert prospects into new customers by consistently articulating the CertaSite value proposition

Scheduling Coordinator

We are looking for a scheduler, who will be responsible for managing the flow of activities for field crews. This position requires a customer focused mindset and the ability to be on the phones for long periods of time while being able to multitask other priorities for the day. Schedule all field projects for upcoming jobs after communication and collaboration with various internal and external departments
Ensure field crews have an appropriate amount of work that can be executed and communicate to supervision of any performance in the field that is irregular.
Monitor performance of the field for management reports, including productivity, utilization, overtime, travel time, and other key resource metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documents, auditing, and reporting
Supports sales through involvement in job quotation and estimation. Approves estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assesses profit risk of jobs, controls material and labor cost and provides feedback to the district and general manager
Provides leadership and supervision to technician team and responsible for the team s development and training
Provides consistent interface with current customer base and establishes effective working relationships in order to identify additional selling opportunities

Manages projects, assigns personnel, oversees ordering of equipment and material, and assures that proper customer signoffs are secured per corporate policy requirements. Monitors warehouse inventory, truck inventory. Assists purchasing and inventory control specialists with said activities
Ensures that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled, and inspections completed on time. Provides input to scheduling coordinator on scheduling activity of technicians
Works with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts. Leads customer care initiatives
Responsible for technician goal setting and performance reviews and will ensure completed on-time each year
Supports technician training by coordinating training with training department. Reports training plan and budget to RM & GM
Work with account managers, sales, and other operational leaders in order to resolve customer issues, including customer visits
Provides weekly job status, revenue and reports to DM & GM
Coordinates with fleet manager and office staff on fleet management activities such as oil changes, repairs, and general maintenance
Other projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate s degree or equivalent from a technical or trade school with a focus in life safety such as fire extinguisher, restaurant hoods, fire alarm, first aid, fire suppression, or sprinkler
3 5 years of business experience in sales and / or operations, with a minimum of 2 years of related field leadership experience preferably within the service industry
IDEAL QUALITIES
Bachelor s Degree in a related field
NICET Level 1 Certified
3 + years of leadership experience within the life safety industry
Experience with employee relations, talent management/engagement, team building, customer service, and interpersonal skills

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers and contractors.

Perform inspection and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems at the required frequencies in accordance with the requirements and instructions contained in NFPA 25
Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire sprinkler systems such as fire pumps and related components
Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Learn how to inspect, test, service, and repair fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and general life safety products
Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and general life safety products
Train on how to record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Spend time with our shop technicians learning how to recharge extinguishers and properly stock trucks
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require
Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
Observe how to properly discuss deficiencies noted with customer, explaining the problem and its resolution
There may be situations which require work on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. For some locations, these demands will be more frequent or required than others.
Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an entry level position
Must possess the ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages
Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions, operating systems and software applications such as Windows, Word, Apple IOS, Android and Outlook. In addition, required to learn and use industry specific devices and software
Must currently have a valid U.S. driver's license

Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Level I

We are looking for a fire sprinkler service level I life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems and related components. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Perform inspection and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems at the required frequencies in accordance with the requirements and instructions contained in NFPA 25
Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire sprinkler systems such as fire pumps and related components
Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Maintain vehicle in clean and orderly fashion. Keep vehicle stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform the job
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require
Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
Perform on-site and/or off-site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems
Test backflow prevention devices as required by NFPA 25 and state and local codes
Separate certification requirements may be necessary based upon the jurisdiction

A minimum of 6 months of technical experience with aspects of plan preparation for water-based fire protection systems, including preparation and compiling of CAD drawings, including layout of sprinklers, and assisting in field surveys.

Fire Sprinkler Service Apprentice

We are looking for a fire sprinkler service apprentice life safety technician to perform inspection, testing, service and repairs of fire sprinkler systems and related components. This includes confirming compliance with applicable life-safety and fire-safety requirements as mandated by standards, codes, manufacturers requirements, federal, state and local ordinances, customer requirements, and the expectations and requirements of the company. This is a fast paced and demanding role with high visibility within the company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Perform inspection and testing of all types of fire sprinkler systems at the required frequencies in accordance with the requirements and instructions contained in NFPA 25
Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of fire sprinkler systems such as fire pumps and related components
Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns
Maintain vehicle in clean and orderly fashion. Keep vehicle stocked with parts, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform the job
Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job
Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require
Work in compliance with the Company's safety program
Perform on-site and/or off-site (phone) emergency troubleshooting of sprinkler systems
Test backflow prevention devices as required by NFPA 25 and state and local codes
Separate certification requirements may be necessary based upon the jurisdiction
Discuss deficiencies noted with customer, explaining the problem and its resolution
There may be situations which require work on nights, weekends, and/or holidays. For some locations, these demands will be more frequent or required than others. Discuss this with your manager
Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces
QUALIFICATIONS
A basic understanding of fire sprinkler or plumbing systems is useful be this is an entry-level role
Must possess the ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages
Must possess the knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions, operating systems and software applications such as Windows, Word, Apple IOS, Android and Outlook. In addition, required to learn and use industry specific devices and software
Must currently have a valid U.S. driver's license

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Overtime may be required, and the number of hours may vary based on work location. May be exposed to all kinds of work environments. Varying work environments from hot to cold temperatures and exposure to dust. Occasionally asked to travel overnight to a customer location. Must be able to successfully lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring. Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc. Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead. Driving is required and the amount of time driving may vary. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for this position in accordance with safety standards
