A Brief Overview Demonstrates the ability to verify benefits and obtain hospital Pre-Certification for patients; when admission information is incomplete, initiate and coordinate process to obtain accurate information. Ability to recognize situations that require intervention and assistance from other internal departments. The Pre-Certification Staff is a liaison between the physician office, the patient and the insurance companies.

What you will do Follows instructions and abides by organizational and departmental policies and procedures to help the department and organization consistently meet the goals established by management or the Board of Directors. Respond promptly, accurately, and courteously to all written and phone inquiries received internally, from patients, attorneys, insurance companies, physician offices, etc. as applicable to the specific position. Consistently recognizes what needs to be done first and takes the initiative to perform the task whenever possible while also recognizing situations that need to be reported to the appropriate management staff. Consistently demonstrates reliability by reporting to work on time, working assigned shift, complying with lunch and break allowances per departmental policy and staffing needs. Consistently provides advanced notification for scheduled PTO, and limits unscheduled absences by attending to personal affairs outside work times whenever possible to avoid productivity or other conflicts.
Education Qualifications High School or GED - Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree - Preferred

Founded in 1978, the Northwest Mountain - MSDC is a nonprofit organization certifying, developing, and connecting Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with major corporations and public agencies. We are an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) providing certification, membership and subscription services to the Pacific Northwest Mountain region which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Our Core Competencies

Certify: Through our rigorous certification process, the Northwest Mountain MSDC enables meaningful business engagements between minority-owned businesses and corporate/public agency members that wish to engage in business with diverse suppliers.

Develop: The Northwest Mountain MSDC develops its certified minority business enterprises' capacity through educational programming, corporate and MBE-to-MBE development, and our partnership with Executive Education Institutions.

Connect: MBE network helps corporate/public agency members connect with diverse suppliers across industries. Additionally, we facilitate both formal and informal introductions between MBEs of all sizes that may benefit from one another.

Advocate: The Northwest Mountain MSDC, its board of directors, and MBE input committee advocate for diversity in supply chain practices. They actively support policies and legislation that promote greater diversity in the public and private sectors.

Requirements

The Office of Minority and Women ‘s Business Enterprises (OMBWE) Outreach and Certification Specialist will support planning, development, and management of statewide outreach, recruitment, event planning, and certification of potential WSDOT MWBEs.

Responsibilities

Event planning, event management, and OMWBE certification processes

Minority and Women ‘s Business Enterprises (MWBE) outreach and identifying venues throughout the State of WA where information and training sessions will be held in a hybrid format

Work closely with the OMWBE Certification team to ensure applicants successfully apply for state OMWBE certification

Requirements

Three to five years of experience in event planning and management

Project management experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Northwest Mountain MSDC team, diverse cohort of Strategic Partners, and Community

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Ability to work through contract term (June 2023)

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting and challenging opportunity in the GLP Certification Team within Actives and Product Technology R&D for an Analytical Specialist The Candidate will perform analytical product chemistry studies that enable registration of new and existing active ingredients and agricultural products. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform analytical studies including GLP certifications of various types of materials in support of registration and production of active ingredients and formulated crop protection products.

+ Ensure that all data are being generated and documented in a manner consistent with GLP regulations, SOPs, best practices, and study protocols.

+ Process and interpret quality of analytical data. Troubleshoot and implement analytical solutions for experimental challenges as needed to ensure study requirements are met.

+ Support daily operations of the analytical laboratories by maintaining the instrumentation and lab areas.

+ Work closely with the GLP Certifications Team and Product Chemistry Subject Matter Experts to efficiently perform experiments and communicate results to stakeholders according to required timelines.

+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Degree discipline in Chemistry or a related science is preferred.

+ Two years relevant work experience with analytical chemistry techniques

+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and customer focused environment.

+ Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate urgent projects.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders and peers.
