Maintain valid CPR Certification
Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred.
Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptable

Responsibilities:
  • Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
  • Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
  • Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
  • Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
  • Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
  • Maintain professional disposition at all times.
  • Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.

The Certified Dealer Instructor/Service Trainer will be a member of the Greenway training team as a Certified Dealer Instructor focused primarily on developing students' knowledge as service technicians. This position will be a leader in training/educating high school students to ensure they can effectively diagnose and repair agricultural equipment. Specific agricultural equipment may include handheld products, riding lawn equipment, small and mid-size tractors, hay balers, compact construction equipment, large row crop equipment such as planters, seeders, tractors, combines, cotton pickers and sprayers.
+ Become properly certified by John Deere before delivery of any John Deere training courses

+ Organize on site logistics of all courses including curriculum, needed equipment, training material/aids, shop and classroom and other misc. items prior to class start time

+ Assist in recruitment efforts throughout the year

+ Assist with other Greenway training events throughout the year

+ Attend additional training as required by Greenway and John Deere

+ Deliver certified classes at the same level of instructional quality, content, infrastructure, and safety as courses instructed by the John Deere training organization

+ Report results of training courses and roster to John Deere & Greenway training department

+ Responsible for ensuring that all students attend the class for the full duration

+ Stay current on new products and technology while regionalizing material to audience

+ Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion

+ Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

+ Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

+ Maintain professional and working relationship with education partners and leadership.

+ 4+ years of teaching experience preferred

+ Experience with the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment

+ Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for training purposes

+ Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer based diagnostic repair tools preferred

+ Experience with basic Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams

+ Experience working cooperatively in a team environment

+ Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing including in front of classroom setting

+ Ability to be coached and continually improve training effectiveness

+ Associates degree preferred, or higher combination of education, training and experience.

+ Ability to travel to all Greenway Locations and other John Deere Training Facilities

+ Occasional overnight travel may be required both regionally and nationally to assist or participate in recruiting or training events

+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs., waist high

+ Must be able to bend, squat, twist, stand, and be on his/her feet for multiple hours throughout the day
