Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities
Plans, implements, and evaluates education programs; Creates education programs to meet the mission and vision of CCOC.
Assists with the development of annual competency training for all levels within the organization; Develops and updates policy and procedures within the organization.
Participates in new product in-service across the organization.
Registers employees for classes; Enters employees' education activities into computer education tracking system and runs education attendance records for hospital departments as needed.
Coordinates and facilitates student clinical rotations, internships, and shadowing experiences.
Provides orientation classes to prepare staff for roles across the organization; Ensures proper documentation of orientation processes within the organization.
Facilitates to make sure CCOC is meeting and following hospital required regulations. Mentors staff in education skills to help staff evolve. Participates in committees within the organization.

Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field preferred; Master's Degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in staff education or professional development preferred; Proven in depth knowledge and experience of the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions to improve organizational learning and performance
Technical Skills: Demonstrated teaching skills, leadership, and critical thinking skills required. Must possess knowledge of personal computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Current license to practice as a practical nurse or registered nurse in the State of Ohio required or Radiologic Technologist licensed in the State of Ohio and registered by the ARRT required; BLS Instructor within 1 year of hire.

As a Retirement Education Training Specialist, you will be supporting the goals for Voya's Retirement Services as it relates to engaging individuals to save and invest for retirement. A Day in the Life:

Prevention Educator
Cincinnati, OH
TITLE: Prevention Educator DEFINITION: Provides primary prevention programming, including middle and high school dating and sexual violence education, and sexual violence prevention programming to adult employees in bars and breweries. Includes curriculum/presentation development, scheduling and outreach, program implementation, and program evaluation. Works consistently within the mission statement of the agency.
QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of experience preferred. Bachelors degree or higher. Demonstrated experience in and passion for delivering effective trainings to diverse audiences and experience in gender-based violence field. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to facilitate training and adapt curricula as needed, based on target audiences. Experience in relationship and coalition building preferred. Computer literacy (MS Office, databases, email, etc.) required.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Programming
Participates in the design and development of age and setting-appropriate primary prevention programs, based on needs assessments for schools, community organizations, and community professionals.
Initiates, plans, and delivers approved education and prevention programs to schools, community members, and community professionals, specifically through WHW's Prevent & Empower program and It's On Us Bar Training program.
Effectively links persons who identify themselves as in need of assistance during education programs to appropriate staff at WHW or other community organizations.
Identifies and collaborates with community organizations, schools, and community professionals to provide education and prevention programs.
Records, manages, and reports school and community outcomes and appropriate paperwork.
Provides input to development, implementation, and continuous improvement of program goals.
Maintains skills and awareness of current trends in the field; participates in any training / in- service recommended to stay current in field.
Demonstrates awareness of program and/or client needs when providing services.
Demonstrates awareness of other agency programs and program goals; actively promotes teamwork, collaboration, and cohesiveness.
Provides services and/or performs duties in a manner which is consistent with agency philosophy. 2.Administrative Functions
Maintains highly accurate records / reporting systems / statistics and submits on time (e.g. Documentation for WHW, for funders, for partner agencies).
Accurately documents and submits mileage and expenses per agency policy.
Accurately documents time and time off per agency policy.
Participates in the on-going process of evaluation and revising policies, procedures, and forms as appropriate.
Knows personal limitations and communicates them to a supervisor before they interfere with performance (to problem solve, offer solutions, etc.).
Maintains information in office in orderly fashion that is usable and accessible to colleagues.
Manages schedule to balance workload and effectively use time during less active periods.

Establishes and maintains effective and professional working relationships with coworkers, volunteers, interns, donors, and board members.

Educational Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Requirements: Prefer candidate with Masters coursework and B.A. or B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and Career Pathways Level 4.
Experience: Prefer 5 years teaching and 3 years leadership experience.
Leadership and People Skills: Emphasis is often placed on a variety of tasks and technical skills involved in an administrative role.
