Our estimates are verified against BLS, Census, and current job openings data for accuracy. After extensive research and analysis, Zippia's data science team found that:

  • 50.3% of all certified lifeguards are women, while 49.7% are men.
  • The average age of an employed certified lifeguard is 25 years old.
