University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus College of Nursing Title\: Rural Certified Nurse-Midwifery Lecturer Positions #\: 00618077- Requisition #\:32973 Job Summary: The University of Colorado, College of Nursing is seeking Rural Certified Nurse-Midwifery Lecturers with experiential and academic preparation to provide clinical supervision, site coordination, mentorship, and administrative support to graduate students in the Rural Midwifery Track. Clinical teaching responsibilities will be designated by the Midwifery Specialty Director. The Rural Midwifery Lecturer will serve as the primary subject matter expert in rural midwifery practice. The Rural Certified Nurse-Midwifery Lecturers will report directly to Nurse-Midwifery Education Program Specialty Director Shannon Pirrie and works collaboratively with Colorado Rural Midwifery Workforce Expansion Program Project Director, Graduate Program Manager, preceptors, students, mentors to students, admissions committee, and more. Examples of Work Performed: Clinical Supervision Ensuring the learning experience provided in the learning area is congruent with the overall course objectives and education program standards.
