Order all necessary medication and treatments from appropriate pharmacy or notify responsible party when supply is no less than 7 days.
Notify supervisor when supply is less than 2 days and medicine hasn't been received.
Responsible for receiving and verifying all medicine received is accurate according to pharmacy label and MAR. Notifies pharmacy and DH&W of any discrepancies.
Responsible for proper storage of all medications and ensuring all lotions, ointments and liquids stored separately from oral medications.
Responsible for dating all appropriate vials or bottles at time of initial opening and following pharmacy protocol on length of time they can be used.
Responsible for weekly inspections of all medications to ensure all expired medications are removed.
Responsible for verifying all current MARs are compared to new MARs at change over time and notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.
Responsible for removing all discontinued medication from med cart and giving it to the supervisor.

CRMA Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma
The CRMA must have completed a training approved by the Department of Health and Human Services of no less than forty (40) hours.
Experience with or desire to spend your work day caring for people, especially those who are older and/or chronically ill.
Focus on a high-level of customer service.
Ability to work with independence, flexibility, good judgment, verbal communication, creating a safe environment, positive customer relationships.

What Youll Do
Our caregivers serve individuals in their homes and communities who need extra support due to aging, illness, or disability. Youll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of full-time experience in personal care, facility, or home care setting
Kind, dependable, and respectful attitude toward the elderly and disabled
Good communication and documentation skills
Able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks as needed
Reliable transportation
Must pass a criminal background check
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods (average 6 hours/day)
