SDMI is seeking a highly skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our growing diagnostic imaging team. You'll perform advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under the supervision of our Radiologists, Technical Director, and Lead Technologists. This is a full-time, weekday day shift position offering competitive compensation, a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus , and relocation support .
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging procedures
Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols
Maintain compliance with all ACR, ARRT/NMTCB, and state licensure standards
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents
Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and staff
Maintain accurate records and follow all safety procedures (radiation, biohazard, contrast reaction protocols)
Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance processes
Assist with vendor visits and training as needed
Support department efficiency by cross-covering as needed across locations and shifts
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine
ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required and in good standing
Nevada State Licensure (or ability to obtain)
DOT training for air and land handling of radioactive materials
ACR and modality-specific certifications maintained
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and contrast use
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Willingness to participate in cross-training and departmental growth initiatives

Washes residents' laundry as needed.
Understands and uses Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Standard Precautions, OSHA's Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens standard, and follows established infection control procedures, hazardous communication, and other safety rules.
Documents provision of services on company forms.
Operates designated medical equipment, copy, scan, fax machines, and telephone.
Escorts residents and coordinates internal transportation needs.
Assists residents with personal correspondence/telephone use when requested.
Observes and reports changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to Wellness Director or supervisor, as needed.
Conducts room checks and resident rounds.
Monitors for environmental safety hazards.
Respond to emergencies in a prompt and calm manner; Immediately reports such emergencies to the supervisor.
Uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations.
Follows-up with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.

Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
