    The Pain Rehabilitation Group of Wichita Falls is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our busy practice. Experience preferred in either Neurology, Neurosurgery or Pain Management, but our physician will be willing to train the right candidate. Candidate must currently possess active Texas License. Mid Level Provider Duties Include: Perform and document follow up office visits for established patients. Work under established supervising physician treatment plan. Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of pain disorders in chronic pain patients. Participate in patient education. Order appropriate pain management procedures. Refer patients for consultations with other specialties. Order diagnostic studies including but not limited to labs, imaging, and EMG. Perform minor procedures such as joint injections and trigger point injections. Manage and prescribe medications under the supervision physician including schedule II-V controlled substances within the confines of the DEA regulations set forth by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. Candidate should be proficient with computer systems and adapting to learn new Electronic Medical Record system. (Prior experience with Athena Practice Solutions is a desirable quality) Complete 10 hours of Pain Management related CEUs annually. Compassionate and caring for chronic pain patients. Adhere to Pain Management Clinic protocols and procedures. Willing to consent to background check. Must be free of license suspensions, revocations & disciplinary actions. No felony criminal history. Candidates must provide professional references from previous employers. Transport residents to and from designated areas and assigned rooms in a safe manner and notify appropriate personnel. Replace sharp containers and disposable glove boxes when needed.
