THE POSITION: Acts as trainer and resource for Service Specialist staff, supporting Dispatcher role as needed. Responsible for delivering and picking up patient supplies and equipment to/from their homes in accordance with all policies and procedures.
* Reviews policies related to Service Specialist roles, identifying necessary changes as appropriate.
* Solves daily delivery issues to help the department run smoothly and cost effectively.
* Acts as main trainer for new and existing staff, to include being on-call resource during new hire orientation.
* Trains current staff when they are assuming new responsibilities.
* Supports Dispatcher as needed, filling in as Dispatcher during PTO/absences.
* Assumes on-call duties when coverage issues arise, often on short notice.
* Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families, and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.
* Schedules and makes deliveries to patients homes in a timely manner.
* Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
* Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.

REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Durable medical equipment (DME) experience preferred
* Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.
* Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

Summary:

Quality assurance functions and equipment maintenance functions. Performs quality control checks on each procedure, equipment, reagents, stains, etc. Documents and interprets all QC data used by technologists to determine validity of patient results and verify instrument performance. Documents and reviews maintenance logs to assure optimum system performance, guaranteeing valid data and eliminating costly, time-consuming equipment failures.

DaVita Kidney Care is bringing our industry-leading clinical quality to patients on-site at skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services. Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week placing a significant burden on patients and adding significant avoidable costs to the health care system. DSD Services teammates will have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer, and will work to quickly leverage these to develop the infrastructure and rapidly grow the new service line. Ideal teammates will have significant experience within DaVita, get energized by a start-up type environment and improving the lives of patients, and have a track record of finding ways to GSD. Teammates must be comfortable working autonomously and have demonstrated the ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources across the Village.
What you can expect:
In this role, you take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track. PCTs will work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
Your primary work schedule will be a Full-Time position: The PCT will be based at our site dialysis den in the Laurels of Gahanna and may be asked to support additional surrounding sites depending on business needs. Operations function Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Scheduled days will vary based on market needs.
Patient Care: Spending the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
Complexity: DSD Dialysis care is a complex but fulfilling service line. Meeting and/or exceeding clinical outcomes are the goals and multitasking is an expectation to meet the needs of the service, the patients and our SNF partners.

* Your training will include a combination of classroom and hands-on learning, through DaVita's award-winning training programs

Mercy Health is looking for a full time Registered Polysomnography technologist for third shift position in Sleep Center. As an employer we value healthy patient-tech ratios. Active registration with the RPT is required. Scoring experience is preferred, however, training is available for otherwise qualified candidates.
Job Duties:
Performs diagnostic testing for sleep disorders including Home Sleep Studies (HST), Baseline Diagnostic Polysomnogram (PSG), Positive Airway Pressure titrations (CPAP, BiPAP, iVAPs, ASV), Multiple Sleep Latency (MSLT), titration of oral devices for OSA, and supplemental oxygen titration.
Demonstrates organizational, computer, interpersonal, and technical skills to complete quality clinical procedures and excellent patient care.
Assists with physician clinics and facilitates treatment compliance with patient education, mask fittings, and desensitization sessions, as needed.
Performs studies utilizing the standard 10-20 system of electrode placement.
Assures cleanliness and safety of patient care, technical, supply, and storage rooms in the Sleep Center.
Maintains proper cleanliness, care for, and functioning of sleep study equipment and supplies.
Ensures accurate registration, payment collection, and charging for patient encounter in patient's electronic medical record (EMR).
Reviews patient chart including physician order, face to face, history and physical, medications, comorbidities, and prior patient sleep encounters to confirm accuracy of order, appropriateness of testing, and identify potential issues & effects of patient health on sleep study.
Reviews orders and performs appropriate sleep disorders testing according to facility policy & procedures as well as American Academy of Sleep Medicine, state and federal government, and accrediting body standards & regulations.
Accurately completes all workflows, charting, scoring, documentation, and necessary scanning in the patient EMR and sleep study system for each patient encounter.
Assists with scheduling of patient visits & procedures, reminder calls, filling vacancies from cancellation list, and proper tracking of patient reschedules, cancellations, and no shows in the EMR.
Promptly reports any facility cleanliness, maintenance problem, safety hazard, equipment malfunction, supply issue, patient complaints, patient or staff injury, security concern, infection control issue, etc. to management and the appropriate supporting department.
Completes all required continuing education in compliance with credentialing body, Sleep Center and hospital accrediting bodies, and BSMH policy.
Performs other tasks deemed necessary by manager to facilitate customer service or business operations including shift, work schedule, department, or location change.
Maintains positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and others.
Attends meetings as needed.
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED

1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; experience in emergency or specialty medicine preferred
Basic computer skills and a comprehension of practice management software and electronic medical record keeping

This position is integral to delivering high-quality, specialized wound care in patients' homes, skilled nursing facilities, and clinic settings. Wound Care Support & Patient Assistance:

Pack necessary wound care medical supplies daily based on the patient schedule.

Replenish wound care kits and maintain organized “go bags” for efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities
* Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse the Student Nurse Tech performs procedures, collects and documents demographic and patient data as follows:
* Vital signs, height, weight, demographic data
* Assists patient with personal and daily care: bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
* Intake & output, urinary catheter removal, finger stick blood sugars, routine urine and stool specimen collection, ostomy care, emptying drainage receptacles/tubes, bladder scan
* Removes peripheral IV's as directed by RN (may not remove any IV's located in antecubital fossa or higher)
* Delivers meals and snacks, feeds patients who are unable to feed themselves. Documents oral intake including supplements
* Turns, positions immobile patients safely, maintaining proper body alignment.
* Answers patient call lights and performs services that add to the physical well being of the patient.
* Transport of patients to designated areas; assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
* Assists in physical examinations, exercise regimens, and postmortem care as directed.
* Skin care, application of cold soaks, compress as directed, re-inforce wound dressings, remove wound dressings, apply simple, clean dressings (excludes sterile wounds or complex dressings including NPWT, packing, medication, and multi step dressings)
* Respiratory Care including: Applies Oxygen mask/trach mask or Nasal Cannula as directed by Registered Nurse.
* Maintains the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, bedside commodes, glucometers, scales, carts, etc. Disinfects equipment in between patients
* Keeps the patient's room in clean and orderly condition, makes beds, replaces soiled linen, straightens and disinfects bedside tables, and prepares the room for occupancy.
* Provides age appropriate care to patients 13 and older
* Maintains unit stock levels: Assists in restocking rooms, trays, cabinets for adequacy of supplies and inventory; assists withcleaning when necessary. Demonstrates proper use & Maintenance of patient scales, carts, and lift

Minimum Qualifications
* This position requires current enrollment in an accredited nursing school and must provide proof of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing, (or equivalent). (Certification as a nursing assistant may be required based on some state requirements).
* Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures and aseptic practices is required.
* This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to follow written and verbal instructions, and tomaintain effective working relations with others including patients, families, physicians and other hospital associates.

Please be advised that while the current hiring process prioritizes Firefighter/Paramedic candidates. However, as of January 1, 2026, the Westerville Division of Fire is also seeking full-time Firefighters with EMT-Basic certifications (FT FF/EMT-B).
Candidates hired as a FF/EMT-B must be enrolled in a Paramedic Certification Program within 6 months of their hire date and must successfully complete the certification within 36 months as a condition of continued employment.
Per contract guidelines, the division will cover the remaining tuition for those already enrolled in a paramedic program or the full tuition for those who have not yet started.
Hired EMT-B candidates will be placed at a training rate step ($26.91/hour) until the satisfactory completion of a paramedic certification.Work is performed under the direct supervision of a Fire Division Lieutenant. Guidance is
provided by Division operating manuals which outlines various protocols. Employees must deal with irregular work demands, some which may be very intense, physically demanding, and at times hazardous. Work is reviewed daily by an immediate supervisor and annual reviews are completed by the Lieutenants. Work may include temporary assignment as unit supervisor.

Responds to fire and emergency medical alarms.
Assists in fire suppression activities.
Administers basic life support, advanced life support and emergency medical treatment to individuals in life threatening and/or hazardous situations.
Utilizes emergency medical equipment, devices and supplies.
Assists with maintaining equipment and fire station.
Removes individuals from burning structures or hazardous situations.
Operates fire pumps, hydrants and high volume hoses to control fires.
Moves furniture and/or building material to limit fire/smoke damage.
Climbs ladders to assist in personal safety or property protection.
Utilizes breathing packs, axes, shovels and other related equipment to control fire/smoke damage.
Attends practices and receives training to improve and maintain fire fighting and EMS skills and certifications.
Drives City vehicles during emergency responses.

Assists in fire/safety educational programs.
Works 24-hour shifts.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Certified as an Ohio firefighter II.
Must be a certified EMT by the State of Ohio.
Must be enrolled in a paramedic program OR have the ability to enroll in a certified paramedic program within 6 months of hire.
Must possess valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Operator's License free from excessive violations.
Must be able to successfully complete and pass Ohio Fire Safety Inspector course.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for varied periods of time under possibly dangerous
