Team Environment: Join a multidisciplinary care team comprising seven full-time physicians and 18 CRNAs, operating within a care model that emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and equitable call scheduling.
Mentorship: Dedicated one-on-one mentorship available for new graduates to facilitate smooth transition into practice.
Qualifications:
Certification: Board Certified in Nurse Anesthesia (verified through VMS).
Experience: Open to both experienced providers and recent graduates.

Hourly base rate of $190/hour
Regional blocks stipend: +$5/hour

Typical Appointments
In-person appointments consist of general medical evaluations in your practice. Evaluations are performed once per veteran and typically take 30 to 90 minutes. There are no ongoing treatment needs for these veterans; it is a one-time encounter.
We Schedule Around Your Availability.
Make your own schedule! Our current need is 3 days per week. We efficiently schedule a series of evaluation appointments that last no more than a total of eight hours on each of those days.

POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures, clinical protocols, continuous quality improvement standards and program monitoring.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with the trans and gender nonconforming community to enhance patient access to services including specialists and consultant care.
Continually update own knowledge of trans health and HIV/AIDS through reading, conference attendance, lectures and other educational opportunities.

Requirements - What we look for in you
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Active, unrestricted APRN license and national NP certification (ANCC or AANP)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in geriatrics, neurology, internal medicine, or primary care, with a strong preference for dementia and cognitive care experience
Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cognitive impairment, dementia, and related neurodegenerative conditions
Working knowledge of geriatric medicine, behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), and multidisciplinary care coordination
Proficiency with telehealth technologies, virtual visit platforms, and EHR documentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, patient- and caregiver-centered care
Ability to balance clinical responsibilities, patient education, and collaboration with remote teams
Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a dementia or cognitive neurology program, memory care clinic, or GUIDE-model program
Clinical research experience related to Alzheimer's disease or dementia treatment
Familiarity with amyloid targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer's treatments
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Experience providing caregiver training and community resource navigation
Comfort presenting in educational or caregiver support forums

The Role
We're hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners with independent buprenorphine prescribing experience. You'll work directly with patients in a structured, fully remote environment, supporting recovery in alignment with harm reduction principles.
* Schedule & Shifts: Full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time options available.
* Shifts are fixed with dedicated start/end times (ending at 6pm local time).
* Options include 3x10s, 4x10s, 4x8s, or 5x8s depending on your state.

* Support: Structured onboarding, access to NP Supervisor during shifts, collaboration with a multidisciplinary Care Team.

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time)
* Salary: $130k-$140k (up to $145k in select high-cost markets); pro-rated for less than 40 hours per week.
* Advanced certification pay differentials: +2% for PMHNP, +1% for CARN-AP (eligible after 6 months, contingent on performance and good standing).
* W2 employment with health, dental, and vision coverage (Boulder covers up to 100% for individuals, 60% for dependents)
* PTO: 4 weeks/year (5 weeks after 2 years), 9 paid holidays
