The Foster Care Case Assistant is a full time, onsite, hourly role (37.5+ hours per week) Mon-Fri with extensive field work required. Provides child care for agency-sponsored support groups and training sessions. Provides support for the educational and recreational needs of clients, as needed.
Transportation: Provides transportation for children and/or family members to family visits, approved activities, court and other appointments, as assigned.
Recordkeeping: Completes family visiting records, case notes, and other required documentation
Crisis Intervention: Ensures that children's' needs are met and children are protected in crisis situations by following appropriate procedures and notifying appropriate personnel in emergencies.
