**Job Description:**
Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations. Description:
As a Hospice Aide/CertifiedNursing Assistant (CNA), you are one of the most vital components of the Interdisciplinary Team! You are the heart, the eyes, and the key communicator of your patient's needs. Your role is to follow a carefully planned out, personalized Care Plan for each patient you are assigned and to report and work closely with the RN Case Manager to ensure the care of the patient is completed and expectations exceeded. You will effectively interact with all members of the Interdisciplinary Team as well as with your patients and their loved ones while maintaining the highest standards of care and professional nursing clinical competency.
Minimum Requirements:
Current CNA License in the State of Georgia
Current CPR & First AidCertification
1-2 years hospice experience (other candidates may be considered with experience in assisted living, home health, long term care)
Utmost compassion & integrity
Driver's license, insurance and vehicle
Excellent Time Management Skills
The ideal candidate would live in or around the Trenton area

Unit Details
Average Census / Patient Ratio:
Sewanee: 4-8 patients (1 nurse and 1 tech for up to 8 patients)
Winchester: 7-14 patients (over 8 patients = 2 nurses, 2 techs)
Unit Type: Post-Acute Skilled Care
Bed Count: Sewanee - 12 rooms | Winchester - 14 rooms (each room can be double occupancy)
Average Length of Stay: Less than 30 days
Support Staff: RNs, LPNs, and CNAs working as one team
Training and Orientation: Approximately 8 weeks, including preceptor support
Requirements and Preferences
Required Certification: Current BLS (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Experience: New grads welcome
Systems: PCC used for charting
Interview Details
Location: Director of Nursing Office, 629 Hospital Road (entrance under the black awning)
Dress Code: Business Casual
